MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Stormy Daniels makes a startling revelation during the hush money trial against Donald Trump as she claims she could speak to dead people.

On Thursday, May 9, the adult film star who previously told people she could "speak with their dead relatives" was cross-examined by the former president's legal team after she claimed she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

Trump, who is accused of falsifying his business records to conceal his payments to Daniels to not disclose their alleged affair ahead of the 2016 presidential election, pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges in the case.

Donald Trump's lawyer asks Stormy Daniels if her boyfriend had questioned her sanity

During the courtroom drama that unfolded in Manhattan where the hush money trial was held, defense lawyer Susan Necheles asked Daniels whether her boyfriend had questioned her sanity, eliciting an objection from the prosecution.

Necheles, who appeared to undermine Daniels' credibility as a witness, asked her, “You’ve made a show and a podcast claiming you can speak with dead people, right?”

Stormy Daniels speaks about her 'Spooky Babes' programme

Daniels, who previously worked as a director and writer on 'Spooky Babes', a documentary-style programme had investigated paranormal activities on the show.

“It was a lot of interesting and unexplained activity. A lot of the activity was completely debunked as a giant possum," said Daniels, reported The Telegraph.

During a 2022 fraud trial involving her former lawyer, Daniels admitted using "cards” and “meditation” to be able to communicate with dead people but shared that she did not know exactly how the process took place.

Internet divided as Stormy Daniels claims she can speak to dead people

Reacting to Daniels admitting that she can speak to dead people, one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "So you are taking the word of Stormy Daniels who was on a show where she said she can talk to dead people? Just curious."



 

One user tweeted, "Desperate con artist," while another user opined, "I'm not defending her, but how is that relevant in this court case?"



 



 

"Stormy Daniels apparently testified this morning that one of the ways she has made money is by claiming she can talk to dead people. That's how the Trump Trial is going this morning."
