MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On the March 25 episode of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', Jimmy Fallon tackled the trending topics of the day, drawing a humorous comparison between the $1.9 billion lottery jackpots and Donald Trump's alleged Stormy Daniels affair and subsequent hush money case.

Fallon quipped about the anticipation surrounding playing the lottery, likening it to the build-up surrounding Trump's legal issues, which are quickly resolved.

Fallon jokes about lottery and Trump's legal woes

About Trump's Stormy Daniels trial, Fallon  said, "The Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots are at a combined $1.9 billion. That’s tonight — I hope you win, I hope you win."

He humorously mentioned, "Playing the lottery is very fun, though. It’s days of build-up and then it’s over in a few seconds. Anyway, Trump’s Stormy Daniels trial is in the news, and it just made me think."

The subsequent portion of the late-night host's monologue focused squarely on the embattled former president, given that he had two distinct court cases occurring simultaneously in New York.

“It’s the first time anyone’s ever heard, ‘Good news! You only owe $175 million,’” Fallon said (@fallontonight/Youtube)

“It was a busy day for Trump,” Fallon said, continuing, “I actually ate lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings just so I could watch all of Trump’s cases on multiple TVs."

The 2024 Republican presidential nominee received a stroke of luck when an appeals court reduced the $464 million bond owed following his civil fraud trial to $175 million.

Additionally, Trump was granted an extra 10 days to gather the funds, sparking intense speculation over whether he would meet the deadline.

"It's the first time anyone's ever heard, 'Good news! You only owe $175 million'," Fallon remarked on the development, humorously likening the 10-day timeframe to the "plot of a Jason Statham movie".

Fallon proceeded to dissect the various assets that could potentially be confiscated by the state of New York if Trump fails to meet the new bond deadline, including buildings, golf courses, and planes.

Assessing the pros and cons of each asset, Fallon humorously noted that the idea of seizing Trump's luxury private jet was dampened by the fact that it's manufactured by Boeing.

Transitioning back to the topic of Stormy Daniels, Fallon remarked, "Meanwhile, the judge in Trump’s Stormy Daniels hush money case rejected his effort to dismiss the trial and set a start date of April 15. The judge picked April 15 because it’s tax day and he knew Trump wouldn’t be busy. He’s available."

Internet reacts to Fallon's humorous critique of Trump

The Internet was abuzz as users took to social media to voice their reactions to Fallon's hilarious take on Trump's most recent legal woe.

One viewer said, "He still owes the 470 million, this was just the bond to appeal the case."

Another said, "Wasting tax money on that man."
