LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN: Two University of Wisconsin-La Crosse students, Grant Beth and Luke Polaske, are speaking out after an alleged tense encounter with Vice President Kamala Harris at her rally in La Crosse on Thursday, October 17.

The students, self-identified Donald Trump supporters, allege that the Democratic presidential nominee mocked their faith and gave them an "evil smirk" when Polaske held up a cross during her speech.

As Kamala Harris addressed the crowd, she took a swipe at Donald Trump, accusing him of nominating Supreme Court justices responsible for overturning Roe v Wade.

When the two students stood out as dissenters, Harris remarked, “Oh you guys are at the wrong rally", with a smile and wave, which her supporters cheered.

"No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street," she continued, taking a jab at the former president, who has been sensitive about the size of his campaign crowds.

"I was pushed by an elderly woman. We were heckled at, we were cursed at, we were mocked, and that's the biggest thing for me personally," Grant Beth claimed.

"In reflection of the event, Jesus was mocked. You know, his disciples were mocked, and that's OK. "

Students warn Kamala Harris will 'alienate' Christian American population

The other student, Luke Polaske, noted that Kamala Harris' wave wasn’t friendly and instead gave them what he described as "an evil smirk" as he raised a cross.

“She was actually waving to me. I took this cross off my neck that I wear, and as we were getting asked to leave, I held it up in the air and waved at her and pointed at her, and she looked directly in the eye, kind of gave me an evil smirk," he said.

Both students believe their protest was inspired by God.

“In reality, we did God's work, and we were there for the right reasons, and God is watching us in this moment. I'm all about being a cordial person no matter your beliefs, but I do believe that we were sent there by God,” Beth said.

“This is what you are going to get with a Kamala Harris presidency. You are going to get the Kamala Harris that alienates over 50% of the US population that is Christian."

Kamala Harris calls out Donald Trump's gaslighting' over Jan 6 remark

As Kamala Harris continued her Wisconsin rally, she blasted Donald Trump’s recent remarks about January 6, describing the event as "a day of terrible violence" and expressing exhaustion with Trump’s "gaslighting," per Daily Mail.

"We here know January 6th was a tragic day. It was a day of terrible violence. There were attacks on law enforcement. One hundred forty law enforcement officers were injured, some were killed, and what did Donald Trump say last night about January 6th? He called it a "a day of love,"' Harris claimed.

"The Americans are exhausted with his gaslighting. Enough!"
