WASHINGTON, DC: Susie Wiles is stepping into the spotlight for the first time since Donald Trump’s return to the presidency.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Lara Trump, Wiles shared insights into her behind-the-scenes role in Trump’s 2024 campaign and her key influence in his administration.

A clip obtained by Daily Mail previews Wiles’ candid discussion about her responsibilities in keeping “the trains on the tracks” in Trump’s second term.

More significantly, she divulged one of the most difficult moments of her career, delivering a harsh reality check to Trump after his 2020 election loss.

Wiles revealed that her entry into Trump’s inner circle came after she told him the reality of the 2020 election in 2021.

“Coming to him after the 2020 election and telling him what he thought was the circumstance wasn’t,” she recounted, adding, “He said, ‘Well, can you fix it?’”

Despite the setback, Wiles praised Trump’s resilience, stating that he has seen so much in his career that it is difficult to surprise him.

She appears to be referencing her strategic role in helping Trump turn his 2020 defeat into a victorious comeback in 2024.

At 67, Wiles has built a career in Republican politics while avoiding the media spotlight.

She played a crucial role in orchestrating Trump’s successful 2024 campaign and now oversees White House operations as Chief of Staff.

Unlike other aides who fell out of Trump’s favor for contradicting him on election fraud claims, such as former Attorney General Bill Barr, Wiles has managed to maintain a close relationship with the president.

Her ability to deliver difficult truths while maintaining trust has set her apart from other political operatives who were sidelined from Trump’s inner circle.

During the interview, Lara Trump asked Wiles about her overall goals for the administration over the next four years.

Wiles outlined several key priorities, including, strengthening the American economy, implementing trade and tariff policies, addressing crime and illegal immigration, and facilitating diplomatic efforts to “settle a war” and bring “peace in the world”

“These are heady, big things that are important not just for now, but for the future,” Wiles explained.

She described her role as ensuring that operations run smoothly so the president and vice president can focus on executing their vision for the country.
