WASHINGTON, DC: Tech billionaire Elon Musk is being kept in check from overstepping his boundaries at the White House by President Donald Trump's Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, The List reported on Monday, January 27.

Musk has been the richest and most prominent donor in Trump's 2024 campaign and has been shadowing the POTUS since he won the general election in November. He even spent the holidays with the First Family at their private Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

As the chair of the newly opened Department of Government Efficiency, Musk is known to have wanted an office in the West Wing of the White House, near Trump's Oval Office. However, his request was shut down by Trump due to the efforts of Wiles, who has made it clear that she would be running a tight ship.

Susie Wiles' hints for Elon Musk

Known as 'The Ice Maiden', Susie Wiles has made sure that Elon Musk needs to report to her in the White House, according to the Daily Mail. She also clarified how she intended to perform her duties in an interview with Axios earlier this year.

"I don't welcome people who want to work solo or be a star," she stated. "My team and I will not tolerate backbiting, second-guessing inappropriately, or drama. These are counterproductive to the mission."

While she did not name Musk, he is widely considered to be the target of her jibes, as his love for standing out is renowned.

"To my core, I believe in teamwork. Anyone who cannot be counted on to be collaborative, and focused on our shared goals, isn't working in the West Wing," Wiles had later added.
