NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce shared her take on Joe Biden's star-studded Hollywood fundraiser when she joined co-host Steve Doocy on the Monday, June 17 episode of 'Fox & Friends.'

According to AP News, the incumbent's fundraiser at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 15, was headlined by celebrities such as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Barbra Streisand. Accompanied by former President Barack Obama, Biden sat down for an interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and raked in over $30 million for his campaign.



 

Tammy Bruce claims celebrity support for Joe Biden to be irrelevant

"The Democrats now clearly are the party of Hollywood, billionaire, tech people, and those are the people who really aren't affected by the catastrophe that Biden has created in the country- economically, or when it comes to crime," Bruce told Doocy.

She highlighted the disconnect that the stars had with the commoners, "when you can hire your own security forces," and "somebody's rent is your flower bill every week."

"They like the access to power and the fun," she shared, "But they are out of touch, clearly. Look, nobody is waiting to find out who Barbra Streisand is going to vote for before they make their mind up about who they are going to vote for in November. We know where Clooney stands, and Streisand stands, and everyone else."

"And the young people already know- they're not infants, they're not drooling- they know what's happened to their lives. They might not vote at all, or they may in fact vote for Trump," she added.



 

Tammy Bruce explains why Biden campaign's anti-Trump messaging would fail

Doocy shared that the Biden campaign had purchased $50 million worth of advertisements in June and that they primarily focused on slamming Trump rather than promoting the presumptive Democratic nominee.



 

Bruce responded that it was an effective tactic in 2020 because "that was a different world. Now everyone realizes they were lied to, and now they can also compare the results of Trump versus Biden."

"It's close enough for people to say, 'I was better off when Trump was the President. I am completely worse off now,' in addition to the nature of the kinds of things we experience."

"It's not theoretical stuff about policies- it's the economy, crime, energy costs, immigration, so it's an insult to the American people," she concluded on the ads.
