Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to exchange vows before more than 1,000 guests at MSG wedding: Report
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding is expected to be attended by over 1,000 people, a report has claimed.
The two stars, who are reported to be tying the knot on July 3, have sent invitations to 1,100 to 1,200 people, but they are communicating with invitees by text to maintain secrecy.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce choose Madison Square Garden for privacy reasons
The report has also revealed that the Grammy winner and the football star chose the iconic, multi-purpose indoor arena, which is home to the Knicks, Rangers, and several big concerts, including Swift’s, to ensure there’s no privacy breach.
Since Madison Square Garden has no windows, photographers won’t be able to capture the pair's special day from outside.
Also, the legendary venue has underground parking, so entry and exit will be hassle-free for the guests.
Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez expected to attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding
As per the report, Swift and Kelce’s wedding security will not only be handled by the New York City Police Department (NYPD), but private companies will be involved too.
Another report said that Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, and Selena Gomez are some of the guests who have been invited to the wedding.
This came after last year, when a tipster revealed that Swift and Kelce want to keep their wedding “private”.
“It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy,” they added.
Taylor Swift hints Ed Sheeran might perform at her wedding
The ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker has always kept her lips tight when it comes to her wedding, but in October 2025, she suggested that Ed Sheeran might perform on her special day.
During an appearance on the UK’s Hits Radio Breakfast Show, host Fleur East asked Swift, “We spoke to Ed Sheeran a few weeks back, and he told us he is constantly asked to perform at people’s weddings. So is he singing at your wedding?”
“Oh it would be hard to keep him from it, I think! That’s the thing, he’s like, ‘I’m always being asked to sing at weddings.’ It’s like, 'Ed, if there is a stage, you know you’ll be on it.' He knows what people want, and he wants to give people what they want,” the 36-year-old added.
The ‘Fortnight’ hitmaker also further shed light on her bond with the English singer as she explained, “That’s the fun thing about our friendship is we both love performing, and we love writing and singing. We love what we do, we love to get up onstage, it’s actually not that hard at talking either of us into performing at anything.”
