The bond that began in 2023 is set to become a ‘love story’ for the ages, with the main wedding ceremony reportedly to take place on the evening of Friday, July 3.

Travis Kelce declared his interest in Taylor Swift in 2023
Their love story began in 2023 after Kelce revealed he had tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during one of her Eras Tour concerts.
Though the attempt failed, he later admitted on his 'New Heights' podcast that he was interested in the pop icon.
The two started dating soon after. More than two years later, Swift appeared on the same podcast in August 2025, saying she owed "a lot to this podcast" for bringing them together.

The couple made their relationship public on September 24, 2023, when Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game with Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce.
Cameras caught Swift cheering after Kelce scored a touchdown, and the two left the stadium together after the game.
The appearance surprised Swifties, as the singer had largely kept her personal life out of the spotlight before confirming the relationship so publicly.

Nearly two months later, Travis attended the Eras Tour for the second time, and Taylor made a significant change to the set in his honor.
For the last song of the night, she swapped the lyric "Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me" for "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me."
She ran into his arms for a kiss as soon as she wrapped her performance.
Taylor's first songs about the relationship appeared in April 2024 on her double album 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
Engagement announcement
After a year of Easter egg hints and shoutouts, Tayvis confirmed their engagement with a joint Instagram post on August 26, 2025.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," read the caption, signed off with a firecracker emoji, under photos of Travis proposing in a garden in Missouri.

Wedding plans
Swift’s 12th album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', released in October 2025, gave fans a glimpse into her romance with Kelce through a series of love-inspired songs.
During the album’s promotion, the singer was repeatedly asked about wedding plans but revealed few details, saying only on BBC's 'The Graham Norton Show' that it wouldn't be a small ceremony.
Since then, Swift has kept quiet about the wedding. A rumored June 13, 2026, wedding date passed without any announcement, though fans later speculated that activity at her Rhode Island mansion signaled a bachelorette celebration.
