Taylor Swift left several of her fans heartbroken after they found out she was not attending the Met Gala 2024. That, however, didn't let the Swifties to get their spirits broken.
In fact, her absence sparked a hilarious meme fest where the netizens created a trend of spotting Taylor Swift on the red carpet - only, not in person. While some edited images of aircraft on the stairs, some edited Swift wearing a football-themed dress on the red carpet.

Lana Del Rey's fans were left unimpressed after the interviewer at the Met Gala 2024 allegedly prioritized Taylor Swift over the 'Summertime Sadness' singer. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 38-year-old singer was asked to name her favorite song from 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
She struggled a bit after which he replied, "It’s the one uhh, 'Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me'," before adding: "Whatever that title was." The awkward interview elicited angry reactions from her fans as they slammed the interviewer for asking her questions about Swift.

As she walked up the stairs of the Met Museum, the supermodel was asked, “What’s your favorite song on Tortured Poets?” She promptly replied, “Down Bad” as the fans could witness her support for her friend.
Anna Wintour made cryptic reply when she was asked about Taylor Swift
While it has now become clear that Taylor Swift did not attend the Met Gala 2024, fans hoped for her attendance after the organizer Anna Wintour played coy about the question of Swift's presence.
Earlier in the day, the Vogue editor-in-chief sat for an interview with the 'Today' host Jenna Hager Bush who asked Wintour whether Swift was attending. She replied then, “I hope she comes and enjoys the exhibit.”

Taylor Swift's song with Post Malone, 'Fortnight' has been on its dream run ever since 'The Tortured Poets Department' was released on April 19.
The song has completed a fortnight at the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart.
