Taylor Swift recalls her unusual high school friendship with Abigail Anderson
Speaking about finding someone who shares the same sense of humor, Swift said she connected with Anderson because they were equally comfortable embracing their unusual personalities. She recalled moving to Nashville when she was 14 and being the new student at school, unsure about whom she should befriend.
“When I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you know, you’re the new kid in school and you’re like, ‘Who should I be friends with? These girls are cool, these girls are cool, these are nice girls,’ ” she said, according to a fan-shared video of the conversation.
However, one girl stood out to her. Swift remembered meeting Anderson, who also has curly hair like the character Blaze, and discovering their shared interest in speaking in the voices of characters from the 2004 comedy film 'Napoleon Dynamite'.

“But there was one girl named Abigail — and she even has curly hair, too, like Blaze — and the two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in 'Napoleon Dynamite' voices,” the singer recalled.
Swift revealed that the unusual habit has continued even after all these years, with their husbands now having to put up with it.
“And we still do this — and it’s something our husbands have to put up with,” she added, prompting laughter from the audience.
She also demonstrated the distinctive husky voice of the film's titular character, played by Jon Heder. Reflecting on the friendship, Swift explained that finding someone who understands and accepts one's personality makes a lasting difference.

Taylor Swift gets emotional while discussing her 'Toy Story 5' song
Swift also contributed to the upcoming animated film by writing and recording an original song titled 'I Knew It, I Knew You' for 'Toy Story 5'. The latest installment in the beloved Pixar franchise features Woody, voiced by Tom Hanks, Buzz Lightyear, voiced by Tim Allen, Jessie, voiced by Joan Cusack, and the rest of their toy companions.
The story follows the toys as they deal with children's growing preference for technology over physical toys. Their circumstances change when their owner, Bonnie, receives a tablet called Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee, disrupting playtime and leaving the toys struggling to find their place.
During a June interview with 'Good Morning America', Swift became emotional while discussing her contribution to the film. She pointed out that she was the first songwriter besides composer Randy Newman to create music for the 'Toy Story' franchise. Newman famously wrote the iconic theme song 'You've Got a Friend in Me' for the original 1995 movie.

Swift said she felt wonderful knowing that Newman had given his blessing for her to write music for the film. She described the opportunity as particularly meaningful because she was the first songwriter besides him to participate in the 'Toy Story' world.
“I was absolutely dazzled by it. It is my favorite 'Toy Story' movie,” she said. The singer appeared to wipe away a tear during the interview before joking about her emotional reaction.
“Don’t mind me,” she said. “Just really liked the movie.”
