The post stated, "Gallery Furniture is here for you as Hurricane Beryl approaches. Call us if you need us!"

Notably, Cruz reshared the post along with the caption, "Mack is an American hero. Stay safe & avoid high water as the hurricane makes landfall."

According to BBC, the storm is predicted to make landfall between Corpus Christi and Galveston, Texas, and it has the potential to strengthen to Category 2, which means it may attain speeds of up to 177 km/h (110 mph).

According to the officials, even though it might not be as powerful as it was in the Caribbean, it might nonetheless disrupt Texas and create extensive power outages all the way inland to Houston.

Moreover, finding a safe location to stay until Monday, July 8, is advised for individuals in Beryl's path by US National Hurricane Center director Michael Brennan 'as hazardous conditions will persist even after the center of Beryl moves through'.

Acting Governor Dan Patrick said, "There's a very considerable risk of flash flooding across the Texas Gulf Coast, eastern Texas, ArkaTex [Arkansas-Texas] region. Do not ignore this very serious storm."

Furthermore, exports may temporarily stop due to the closure of the ports of Corpus Christi, Houston, Galveston, Freeport, and Texas City. There are restrictions on all vessel movements and cargo activities.
