‘Teen Mom’ star Janelle Evans' son Jace removed from her custody again after she called 911 on him
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Jenelle Evans, known for her role on 'Teen Mom', is once again facing turmoil as her 15-year-old son, Jace, has been removed from her custody following a series of escalating incidents.
In a recent turn of events, Jace reportedly acted out, leading to repeated 911 calls and intervention by authorities.
Reportedly, this is what happened in the days leading up to the latest upheaval.
Conflicts between Jenelle Evans and Jace dates back to 2023
Jenelle Evans’ struggles began to surface in early 2023 when her boyfriend, August Keen, encouraged her to move to Las Vegas, leaving her husband, David Eason, and her home in North Carolina behind.
However, Jace reportedly had difficulty adjusting to his mother’s sudden lifestyle changes, and by August 2023, he began running away from home, citing conflicts with his stepfather.
During one of these incidents, Jace alleged that Eason had assaulted him, leading to Child Protective Services stepping in and temporarily placing him with his grandmother, Barbara Evans.

By early 2024, Jace was back with Evans, who was now set on building a new life for herself and her children in Las Vegas.
But the transition wasn’t smooth. Tensions mounted, and in a separate incident, Keen called the police on Evans, alleging she was intoxicated and abusive.
In response, she temporarily sent her son Kaiser to Tennessee, only to bring him back shortly after.

Amid these crises, rumors surfaced that CPS opened an investigation, further compounding the pressure on Evans and her family.
According to The Ashley, Evans called the police on October 20, claiming Jace “started smashing things” and had run away twice in one weekend.

She initially reported him missing on the night of October 19, but he returned later that evening.
On October 20, the tension resurfaced as Evans made a frantic 911 call, leading to another call for police intervention.
Jenelle Evans faces ongoing struggles as Jace remains out of her care
It appears Jace will not be returning to his mother’s care anytime soon.
In an audio recording as per TV Shows Ace, Evans expressed frustration over the ongoing turmoil at home, saying, “I told my two younger kids to stay away from [Jace]. He smashed his door, my door, a closet door…Now everything in my house is, like, smashed, and it keeps happening and the cops said they wouldn’t help yesterday [when Jace ran away the first time].”

As per Newsweek, back in September, in a 'Teen Mom: The Next Chapter' clip, Jace shared his relief after separating from her estranged husband, David Eason.
"I feel a lot safer without David," he told his mom, referring to Eason, who faces a felony strangulation charge following Jace's allegations of abuse in September 2023.
The family, including Evans' children Kaiser, 10, and Ensley, 7, now resides in Las Vegas after Evans' separation from Eason in March.

Apologizing to Jace, Evans said, "I'm sorry it didn't happen sooner, but I was trying."
Jace, unfazed by the past, responded, "He's gone now, and like, I'm fine." Reflecting on Jace's desire for stability, Evans recalled him saying, “I want all the drama to stop... I just want this all to be over.”
