WASHINGTON, DC: ‘The Daily Show’ recently poked fun at the controversy surrounding Kristi Noem's husband while mocking the former DHS Secretary's rumored extramarital affair with her top advisor, Corey Lewandowski.

The late-night show addressed a latest report about Bryon Noem that accused him of being secretly involved in cross-dressing activities. The segment combined humor and commentary to discuss the allegations and to mock how they have been covered in the news.

The talk show voiced support for Kristi Noem’s husband Bryon after his name cropped up in a cross-dressing scandal, encouraging him to “do whatever you want.”

During Tuesday’s monologue, host Desi Lydic weighed in on the new report, which claimed the former Secretary of Homeland Security’s spouse “may be leading a cross-dressing double life.”

“I can’t believe the lady banging her employee on a f**k plane is the less messy one in their marriage,” Lydic said at the start of Tuesday’s show.

“But you know what? You live your truth, Bryon. Oh, she can dress up, and you can’t? F**k that.”

Shortly after, 'The Daily Show' cut to a montage highlighting the different outfits worn by Noem during her time in office, including the many hats she sported during public appearances or official events.

Lydic then alluded to the controversy by defending the idea that individuals can express themselves freely, while also mocking Kristi Noem's alleged extramarital affair rumors.

The segment also tied the controversy to Kristi Noem’s political profile, noting that the report comes amid broader scrutiny surrounding her.

“If she had an affair, you have a free pass,” Lydic noted, referencing the allegations that Noem has been engaged in an extramarital affair with Lewandowski. “You can do whatever you want.”

The show then cut back to display a photo, which allegedly showed Bryon donning a pair of fake breasts.  “I support you and your beautiful lazy-eyed balloon n*****s,” Lydic stated in response to the image.

“No. Truly, I have never felt more seen,” she said, adding, “You know what they say, ‘Sometimes they’re sisters, not twins.'”

Meanwhile, Noem's rep shared that the politician “is devastated” over the report, adding, “The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.”
