WASHINGTON, DC: Republicans on the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, November 12, released more than 20,000 pages of records from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, declaring, “You deserve the full truth.”

They released the records just hours after Democrats unveiled emails in which Epstein reportedly mentioned President Donald Trump.

Republicans counter with massive data dump related to Epstein

The sudden release followed accusations from the White House and GOP lawmakers that Democrats had selectively leaked material to slander the president.

“Democrats whine about ‘releasing the files,’ but they only cherry-pick when they have them to generate clickbait,” the committee’s Republican members said in a statement accompanying the new document dump.

“You deserve the full truth,” they added. The trove of files adds a new twist to the intensifying partisan feud over Epstein’s reported connections with powerful figures, though the implications of the release remain unclear pending a full review.

Epstein’s emails about Trump spark political clash

Earlier in the day, Democrats on the Oversight Committee published three Epstein emails referencing Trump.

In one 2011 message to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein wrote, “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump … (Victim) spent hours at my house with him... he has never once been mentioned.”

Democrats redacted the victim’s name, but Republicans reportedly swiftly identified her as Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers. They then accused Democrats of trying to distort the context.

“Why did Democrats cover up the name when the Estate didn’t redact it?” the committee’s Republican majority said in a statement.

"It’s because this victim, Virginia Giuffre, publicly said that she never witnessed wrongdoing by President Trump. Democrats are trying to create a fake narrative to slander President Trump. Shame on them," they stated.

White House joins GOP in slamming Democrats

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed the committee’s criticism, accusing Democrats of “selectively leaking” to the media.

“Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump,” Leavitt said in a statement.

Leavitt noted that Trump had long distanced himself from Epstein, allegedly having barred him from his Mar-a-Lago club years before Epstein’s 2019 death.

“President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep to his female employees,” she said.

Democrats defended their earlier release, arguing that the emails were part of a broader effort to obtain transparency from the Justice Department, which has yet to turn over Epstein-related investigative files fully.

Jeffrey Epstein died in 2019 from an apparent suicide while awaiting trial on federal trafficking charges.

His longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, who appeared in several of the emails released this week, is serving a 20-year prison sentence for trafficking underage girls.

While none of the newly disclosed records accuse Trump of criminal conduct, the emails have reignited the political battle over Epstein’s ties to high-profile figures.
