MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Whoopi Goldberg spent about 10 seconds mimicking a Donald Trump spokesperson in a nonsensical manner during the Monday, June 24 episode of 'The View'.

This came after CNN anchor Kasie Hunt abruptly ended a live interview with Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt as the latter took digs at two journalists whom the network has chosen to moderate the upcoming June 27 presidential debate between the former president and President Joe Biden.

Leavitt remarked that it would be easy to find comments made by CNN anchor Jake Tapper comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler, as per NBC Montana

During the interview, the Trump spokesperson said, "It would take someone five minutes to Google ‘Jake Tapper Donald Trump’ to see that Jake Tapper has consistently and frequently likened President Trump to Adolf [Hitler]," only to be interrupted by Hunt.

'The View' co-hosts were in agreement with Hunt's decision to end the interview, suggesting that similar steps should be used during the actual presidential debate.

With a chuckle, Goldberg said, "Well, you know, listen. If you don’t have anything to say, you blab. You just go on and on and on and on and on and on and on!"

And indeed, Goldberg went on and on (and on), making that sound effect for roughly 10 full seconds. She did pause for air at one point, only to dive right back into her chattering, to make her point.

She finally stated, "That’s what you hear when they don’t have anything to hold you with, nothing to make you think about what they have to say, they talk at you, not to you. And that’s what she was doing, and she was doing it, and it’s not new!”

Ahead of the November election, CNN and ABC are set to host two crucial debates between Biden and Trump on June 27 and September 10, respectively.

Internet reacts to Whoopi Goldberg imitating nonsensical ramblings of Donald Trump's team

Goldberg's ten-second stint of nonsensical chatter garnered unfavorable responses from viewers who felt it mirrored her habitual hours-long dialogues on the show.

One expressed, "Most of what Whoopsie Goldberg says is nonsense...always has been! So, why even question that she 'chattered nonsensically for 10 full seconds on the View.....' That show is soooo past its relevance! Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie must be spinning in their graves to see what has become of that once intelligent talk show!"

They added, "There is not one intelligent brain among ALL of them combined!!! And, that includes Farrah...what's her name, who is supposedly representing the Republican point of view, but is too intimidated and afraid of the others to say anything!!!"

Another shared, "Whoopi has the nerve to say what she thinks, and there are millions that appreciate her. Ten seconds? My, my. The show has certainly evolved thru the decades, but don't they all? Look at FOX, for instance. Those people are way more offensive with their remarks against the left. Actually, I think that Barbara just might be proud of today's 'View'."

"I liked Whoopie when she acted. But on the view no. All of them think their opinions are the only opinions that count. They think they're all that and a bag of chips," expressed a person, and someone else added, "Goldberg's 'nonsensical chatter' has been going on for years."

"Ten seconds? She does every weekday for an hour," stated an individual with one more echoing, "Just 10 seconds? Seems like she does nothing but chatter nonsensically all of the time."

"The woman is a shrew," remarked another person.
