MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: In the monologue on 'Real Time', Bill Maher didn't hold back when discussing President Joe Biden recent gaffes and apparent cognitive slips.

Maher, known for his sharp wit and unfiltered commentary, dove straight into the controversy surrounding Biden's mental acuity.

Bill Maher mocks Biden's brain, Super Bowl interview, and 'Mr. Magoo' reference

"Of course, the issue I was hoping we wouldn't have to be talking about at this point, but of course we do, is Biden's brain," Bill Maher quipped, setting the tone for the discussion.

Maher wasted no time addressing Biden's decision to forego the traditional presidential Super Bowl interview, a move that raised eyebrows among pundits and viewers alike.

"People are saying, why can't he even do the Super Bowl interview? It's not like we're asking him to go on Dancing With the Stars," Maher remarked, highlighting the significance of the omission.

The conversation then shifted to the recent report from the special counsel investigating the document scandal, a reference to the controversy surrounding Trump's handling of classified materials.

Maher then  seized upon the report's characterization of Biden as 'Mr. Magoo', a well-meaning elderly man with diminished faculties, as evidence of the president's cognitive decline.

"I mean, come on", Maher exclaimed, clearly incredulous at the implications of the report.

"The final line of the report was 'I'm Donald Trump and I approve this message"', he added, injecting his trademark humor into the discussion.

The host went on to recount Biden's recent mix-ups, including confusing French President Macron with former President Mitterrand and Angela Merkel with the late Helmut Kohl, former chancellor of Germany.

"Joe is not helping his own cause", Maher lamented, pointing out the series of verbal slips that have fueled speculation about Biden's mental sharpness.

To add context, The Department of Justice recently released a nearly 400-page report regarding its investigation into Biden's handling of classified documents from the end of his tenure as Vice President under Barack Obama until his election as President in 2020.

The report unequivocally cleared Biden of any criminal misconduct. However, it drew widespread attention due to several extraneous comments by Hur that insinuated, without substantiation, that Biden is a senile egomaniac. These remarks also ran counter to Department of Justice policies.

Internet supports Bill Maher's critique of 'loaded' Biden report

Amidst the criticism, Maher couldn't resist a playful jab at Biden's expressed desire to simply watch the Super Bowl and enjoy the halftime show with Toby Keith.

"Well, at least he's got his priorities straight", Maher quipped, wrapping up his commentary with his signature blend of humor and biting social commentary.

As Bill Maher mocks the 'loaded' Biden report, the internet appears to rally behind his statements on the 'Real Time' show.

Some of the comments read, "Two old brains. Each hires people to effect their policies. One is well meaning and picks solid people. One is corrupt, evil intent, picks anyone who tells him a good story. So, what’s the problem?".

"Regardless of who is President and how sharp that person's mental faculties are, treating the Super Bowl as if it's somehow the appropriate time/place for a POTUS Q-and-A is silly. Why not the Academy Awards? Or the Indianapolis 500? Or the Grammys? Or the Kentucky Derby?".
