WASHINGTON, DC: Robert F Kennedy Jr, the high-profile third-party presidential candidate, recently announced plans to file a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) following his exclusion from the upcoming CNN presidential debate on June 27 in Atlanta.

Kennedy, who has yet to meet all of CNN's stringent requirements, has alleged collusion between the Trump and Biden campaigns and CNN, claiming that his exclusion from the debate is unjust, as reported by Scripps News.

"We believe that if the FEC enforces the law, that they’re going to find that there was – you know, there’s also evidence, strong evidence, that’s been reported in the mainstream media of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Biden campaign – particularly the Biden campaign – and CNN," Kennedy expressed.

CNN has set strict criteria for debate participation, requiring candidates to be on the ballot in states with at least 270 electoral votes and to have achieved 15 percent in four reliable polls since March 13.

While Kennedy has reached the 15 percent mark in at least two qualifying polls, he has yet to meet the ballot access requirement, needing to secure spots in more states and improve his national polling within a month.

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), a nonpartisan organization, typically organizes debates starting in September, which would have given Kennedy more time to qualify. However, the Trump and Biden campaigns bypassed the CPD, agreeing on an earlier debate schedule that puts additional pressure on Kennedy.

Despite the challenges, Kennedy has remained optimistic about his chances. "I look forward to holding Presidents Biden and Trump accountable for their records in Atlanta on June 27 to give Americans the debate they deserve," he recently penned on X.

Kennedy's campaign has made significant progress, collecting sufficient signatures for ballot access in states including Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas, which together represent 112 electoral votes.

However, some of these signatures are still pending submission or official validation by state election authorities.

A sixth user wrote, "They are literally trying to rig the election process. Bobby is calling them on it." A seventh user wrote, "You cannot dismiss the fact that they don’t want him there because he’s too competitive and competent for either Trump or Biden to beat in a debate. Fear of losing is a powerful motivator for both them and their corrupt parties."

An eighth user wrote, "The thing is during the debate he can expose Trump and Biden to people that had no idea what they have done. He can also put to rest a lot of lies about him. And thoroughly he can explain how the system works. Debating will be massive For him."
