WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump rebuked a report that claimed his meeting with some of the country's powerful CEOs in Washington, DC, on June 13 was disastrous, where he "doesn't know what he was talking about," according to Raw Story.

The Republican presumptive nominee met with top CEOs of the US in his first visit to Capitol Hill since his departure from the White House in January 2021.

However, CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin undermined the meeting, referring to several attendees who allegedly said Trump was "meandering." He stated that he spoke to a number of CEOs who met the former president, who was "remarkably meandering, could not keep a straight thought, and was all over the map."

Sorkin also cited a purported remark from an attendee that said,  "This may not be any different or better than Biden though, if you're thinking that way."

The MAGA spearhead denounced the report, arguing it was planted by a "Biden Scum", and some CEOs described the meeting as the "best meeting they had ever had."

Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Saturday, June 15, writing, "Had a great meeting with the Business Roundtable on Thursday - All CEOs at the top Companies in the Nation, and beyond. I have already heard from so many how good the Meeting was - Larry Kudlow was the Moderator, and we covered a lot of territory."

He further claimed that some "sympathizers" of President Joe Biden were belittling the inspirational meeting by spreading false rumors.

"It's put out by the Biden Scum in order to dignify his existence - Something very hard to do. Ask Larry Kudlow, Newt Gingrich, or I could give you a list of executives to talk to. Some said it was the best Meeting they'd ever had, and they were virtually all there. Anybody saying anything else is no friend of our Country!" Trump added.

The real estate mogul, who reportedly suggested replacing the income tax with tariffs when he met congressional Republicans at Capitol Hill, also promised more tax cuts to the CEOs.

The former president purportedly promised to slash the corporate tax to 20% from the current 21% if elected in November, as per CNN.

Internet reacts as Donald Trump dismisses reports that undermined his meeting with CEOs

Social media users criticized Trump's "thin-skinned" approach towards the report, which claimed his meeting with the CEO was disastrous.

One user commented below the Raw Story article, "Trump is a weak thin skinned little sico ....cant run a simple meeting and then has to blame Biden for it....weak and pathetic...Unfit for everything. Pathetic loser."

Another said, "The maga cult already has their answer to this - even before Trump's lie - it was a setup. Why face reality when a stupid conspiracy will do?"

"Like, Teddy Roosevelt, Trump always wants to be the baby at every christening, the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral. I look forward to him getting his wish on the latter," added a third user.

A fourth response read, "Donny Demento can't just lie, he has to make wildly hyperbolic whoppers that can't possibly be true. He's the world's biggest malignant narcissist."

"Thing with Donald is that he's now too stupid/demented to change up his routine. He's been rubberstamping the same tired parody comebacks for years," another person wrote.

An individual said, "The fact that trump is denying it this profusely...is an admittance it's true. He never gets this riled up unless his ego takes a hit...and nothing hurts him like the truth."

"Always delusional. He doesn't have one foot in reality. He didn't say that they came to him crying and saying, Sir, we can't believe what you're going through," someone else wrote on X.

Another added, "He meets w real business people, professionals, and they come out of it thinking trump is a con job/nut bag. And they were leaning to support him. LOL. Sad."
