MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Defeated vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz declared he could “kick most of their a**” as his discussion with Gavin Newsom shifted to their opponents.

Walz, who was Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 election they lost, recently joined California Governor Gavin Newsom on his podcast, claiming he could take on his critics in a brawl.

During his chat with Newsom, the Minnesota governor—speculated to be a top contender for the Democrats' presidential pick—discussed what might have driven male voters away from their party.

Tim Walz claims he ‘could’ defeat most of his defeats

Appearing on ‘This is Gavin Newsom’ on Tuesday, March 18, Tim Walz engaged in a chat with Newsom, his fellow potential Democratic presidential candidate, about the reason behind losing the grounds with the male voters.

When Walz questioned what the liberals need to do to woo back the male voters, Newsom pointed out that they are losing out on the male demographic of all ages and races.

Urging his party to focus on appealing to the male voters, Newsom continued, “We cannot continue to be on the defense, reacting to this. We gotta meet people where they are…,” before highlighting, “You gotta respect people you disagree with, and you can’t just dismiss people," per Whiskey Riff.

Walz, on the other hand, showed that he does not care about diplomacy. For the former assistant high school football coach, kicking the a***s of their critics would rather achieve better results.

Without mincing words, the 60-year-old Minnesota politician joked, “How do you fight it? I think I could kick most of their a**, I do think that. But I don’t know if we’re going to fall into that place where we challenge you to a WWE fight kind of thing.”

While Newsom tried to maintain his well-honed diplomacy by pointing out that the Democrats are gradually going out of favor with the male voters, Walz steered the conversation toward racism and misogyny.

“These are bad guys though. These are bad guys,” claimed Walz, and added, “How do we push some of those guys back under a rock? You don’t think it’s racism and misogyny?”

Tim Walz slams Republican critics for questioning his masculinity

This is, however, not the only time that Tim Walz incited the discussion on sexuality and gender. During his candid chat with the California Governor, Walz further called out the Republicans for questioning his masculinity during the presidential election last year.

Accusing the conservatives of misogyny, Walz said, "We buy their frame on these issues of sexuality, you know, but their whole thing was is that they spent all their time, these guys on Fox News, [saying] that Walz is gay, he's not masculine, you know, he doesn't coach football the way he should," and noted, "There's misogyny in here that's happening."

He added, "Not that I spend much time thinking about this, and it just baffled me how much time they spent trying to attack me, that I wasn't, like, masculine enough in their vision."

Continuing to criticize the attacks on his masculinity, the Minnesota Governor added, "I saw Fox News did, like, a couple days because I used a straw, and I'm, like, 'Hell, man, what am I—how else do you drink a milkshake?' type of thing. But they focused on it obsessively, which I think again is their obsession, their weirdness.”

Walz was referencing Fox News host Jesse Watters’ oblique remark on the politician’s use of straws while having a milkshake ahead of the election.

Watters said on ‘The Five’, as reported by Washington Free Beacon, "Women love masculinity, and women do not love Tim Walz, so that should just tell you about how masculine Tim Walz is.”

"The other day you saw him with a vanilla ice cream shake. Had a straw in it. Again, that tells you everything,” continued Watters.
