'Told her to shut up and get over it:' Billie Eilish shares reason behind 'bailing' on Zoe Kravitz
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billie Eilish has recently delved into her life and music in an unprecedented manner.
The singer of 'Ocean Eyes' discussed a range of topics, from her music and sexuality to friendships and mental health.

The multi-Grammy award-winning artist also shared insights into why she turned down Zoe Kravitz's attempt to befriend her.
Eilish reminisced about the moment when, after Zoe's persistent efforts, she finally confronted her for continually postponing their plans to hang out.
“I remember her being like, why won’t you hang out with me? And I was like, because when you get to know me, you’re going to know me, and that’s so terrifying to me, because then I’m not just, like, this person you think is cool. And what if you don’t like me?” the 22-year-old told Rolling Stones.
Eilish also revealed to the outlet that she is still "fixated on the notion of being an anomaly" and maintaining the persona of "Billie Eilish."
Billie Eilish feels she is now moving in right direction
The singer has, however, come a long way after faking her mysterious personality, “Anyway, I have since thrown away that idea, and been hanging out with people. If they get to know me, that’s OK. That’s good.”
The ‘Your Power’ singer further explained, “We’re both Sags [Sagittarius], so I totally understand the flightiness because I can be kind of similar. I think I probably just told her to shut up and get over it."
“And we’ve been really good friends ever since. It’s actually the opposite of what she said: The more I get to know her, she gets better and better.”
Reflecting on her reservation towards friendship in general, Billie shared, "I'm afraid. For a f*****g good reason. I'm afraid of people, I'm afraid of the world. It's just scary for somebody like me, and even if it's not scary, it means being on and being vulnerable and being seen and being filmed and whatever."
Eilish also talked about the advice she got from John Mayer, “I remember him saying, ‘It feels like it’s going to feel like that forever, but it will go away, and in a way you want to take it in, because it will cool off, and people won’t act like she’s Bigfoot when they see her."
"That really stuck with me, because I was like, no, it is going to feel like this forever, and everywhere I go, people are going to look at me like they just saw a ghost,” she told the outlet.
