NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Musician and songwriter Travis Barker is reflecting on the unwavering support he received from his family while working on his upcoming documentary, 'Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear.'

Speaking at the documentary’s world premiere during the Tribeca Festival on Saturday, June 13, the 'Blink-182' drummer shared how his wife, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, and his children played an important role throughout the project and helped him bring the documentary to life.

The 50-year-old musician revealed that Kardashian has been one of the documentary’s biggest supporters. According to Barker, his wife, whom he married in 2022, has "watched the documentary so many times.”

He also spoke about the involvement of his 22-year-old son, Landon Barker, whom he shares with his former wife, Shanna Moakler. Landon appears in the documentary and participated in several interviews for the project.

Reflecting on the encouragement he has received from his loved ones, he said, “They’ve all been super supportive, and I wouldn’t be here without all the love from them.”

Directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer, 'Louder Than Fear' chronicles his rise to fame and explores several personal challenges he has faced, including the aftermath of the private plane crash he survived in 2008.

The 99-minute documentary also features interviews with people from the music industry as well as members of Barker’s inner circle and family. The project was first announced in April and is scheduled for release later this summer.

Krook and Dwyer, who have worked alongside him on the documentary for more than a decade, also discussed the musician’s close relationship with his children during the premiere event. “He takes his kids everywhere,” Krook said, adding, “They go on tour with him. They’re a very tight unit and the most lovely kids.”

The filmmaker noted that his children were still teenagers when he first met them and said it has been remarkable to watch them grow into young adults over the years. He and Kardashian have built a large blended family.

Along with Landon, he also shares daughter Alabama Barker and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya with Moakler. Kardashian, meanwhile, shares Mason, Penelope, and Reign with her former partner Scott Disick.

The couple also welcomed their first child together, son Rocky, in November 2023. Earlier this year, Barker publicly celebrated his wife’s birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute. Sharing a collection of photos in April, he wrote, “Thank you for being such an amazing woman, an incredible wife, and the best mom to our humans. I feel so grateful to spend this life with you.”
