Kourtney Kardashian slammed as she snubs ex Scott Disick in Father’s Day tribute: 'The kids will notice'

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kourtney Kardashian Barker is facing backlash for omitting her ex Scott Disick from her Father’s Day tribute on social media, posted on Sunday, June 15, even though the two have three children—Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10—together. 

'The Kardashians' star, 45, marked Father’s Day by sharing a heartfelt Instagram slideshow dedicated to her husband, Travis Barker. The post featured a sweet snap of the musician in pajamas with their 19-month-old son, Rocky Thirteen.

“Happy Father’s Day to the man who loves with his whole heart — for our baby, for my three, for his three… for our seven,” Kourtney wrote in her Father's Day tribute for Barker. “This wild, beautiful blended life wouldn't be the same without you.”

She also shared sweet moments of Travis’ children from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler — Landon, Alabama, and Atiana — as part of her Father's Day tribute.

She also shared two photos of her late father, Robert Kardashian, on her Instagram Stories, writing, “God blessed us with the absolute best dad.” The beloved attorney passed away in 2003 at age 59 after battling esophageal cancer.

However, noticeably absent from the post was any mention of Disick, her ex and the father of her three eldest children, with whom she shared a turbulent nine-year relationship that ended in 2015 after he was seen getting close to stylist Chloe Bartoli.

Fans were quick to notice the glaring omission of Scott Disick from Kourtney Kardashian's Father’s Day tribute on Instagram.

"I love how she acts like Scott was never a huge part of her life," one Instagram user remarked. Another pointed out, "Your kids are going to see this and feel some type of way."

"How quickly they try replacing the original fathers," someone else chimed in.

"So Scott .. is not a father?" another questioned.

However, some supporters of the reality star defended her, pointing out that Disick didn’t acknowledge her on Mother’s Day. They argued that she isn’t obligated to give him a social media shoutout.

"Where were you all when Disick didn't post about Mother's Day?" one fan asked.

"Are y'all gonna whine every single year cause she's not posting her ex? Jesus," another chimed in. 

Interestingly, it was only Kris Jenner who gave a nod to all the dads in the family, including Scott Disick, Kanye West, and Tristan Thompson.

Jenner’s youngest daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, noticeably skipped mentioning their father, Caitlyn Jenner, this Father’s Day, even as she remains in conflict-ridden Israel.

Instead of marking the occasion, Khloe Kardashian shared a pair of Insta Stories dedicated to momager Kris, while Kim Kardashian spent the day celebrating her daughter North West’s 12th birthday.
