What would Travis Kelce do if he were the US president?

The Chiefs' tight-end spoke during his White House visit on May 31 after the team was invited to celebrate their Super Bowl LVIII win.

“I would take Air Force to Hawaii,” Kelce said, referring to the presidential aircraft. And when asked who would be on the plane with him, Kelce replied, “The Squad. Hopefully we can all fit. I think we could all fit on there.”

George Karlaftis, Kelce's other team member, too joined in the fun as he said, “My family’s over in Greece man, you know, half my family.”

“So I’d fly them over and just enjoy the White House. Maybe run around, they have a golf course out there,” the 23-year-old said.

Travis Kelce spoke at the presidential podium in the White House

The Chiefs were in the White House on June 5, 2023, when Kelce made an attempt to speak at the presidential podium.

"So, I've been waiting for this..." Kelce said at the time before teammate Patrick Mahomes playfully pushed him away from the podium.

“Sorry! Sorry!” his teammate addressed the crowd, reports People.

Dressed in a tan suit, the star tight-end posed for photographs with President Joe Biden and his teammates in Washington DC, as part of Kansas City's extended championship celebrations.

As President Joe Biden invited Kelce to speak at the podium on May 31, the NFL star joked and said it was better for him to not say anything due to the possible consequences.

"I'd have Travis come up here, but God only knows what he'd say," Biden said, adding “Travis, come here, it's all yours, pal."

"My fellow Americans, it's nice to see you all yet again. I'm not going to lie. President Biden, they told me if I came up here, I'd get tased. I'm going to go back to my spot, all right?" Kelce said as everyone burst into laughter.
