Swifties unhappy as Travis Kelce's ad with Olivia Dunne raises doubts about Taylor Swift romance
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce teamed up for a new social media skit for Accelerator Active Energy.
The video included a playful reference to Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and sparked controversy among Swifties who were not pleased. It was particularly surprising as the video featured Dunne instead of Swift.

Dunne shared a clip on Instagram and TikTok on Friday, June 7. In the video, the athletic duo lip-synced lines from Tim Robinson’s 'I Think You Should Leave'.

They specifically performed a part from a dating show skit where one contestant wouldn't stop using a zipline. Kelce mouthed the dialogue, “I feel like you’re just here for the zipline,” to which Dunne responded, “What?”

Instead of using a zipline, Dunne edited the video to show the text, “I feel like you are here for concert tickets,” while Kelce continued the dialogue.
The post was captioned with Dunne humorously asking, “Who me?! Never,” and included hashtags #swiftie, #taylorswift, and #traviskelce.
This wasn’t a random pairing, as the Accelerator Active Energy Instagram account had earlier posted promotional photos of Dunne and Kelce with the brand’s beverages on Friday, June 7.
The athletes have previously collaborated with Accelerator, with Men’s Journal noting that Kelce became an investor in the brand last year, alongside his brother Jason.
In his off-season, Travis gave Dunne a shout-out during an appearance on ABC’s 'Good Morning America' earlier this week, People reported.
He said, “I got Livy Dunn in the building. LSU gymnast. Absolutely just an awesome person. She’s down there making Accelerator look just amazing.”
Travis Kelce-Olivia Dunne ad has garnered over 220K likes and millions of views
The Internet has overwhelmingly shown love for Dunne, resulting in over 220K likes and millions of views for the video, besides a sea of comments.
One comment said, "Imagine two years ago someone told you Livvy dunne would be in an ad with Travis Kelce about his relationship with Taylor Swift." Another wrote, "This is iconic." A third questioned along with a "feeling sad" emoji, "WHYYYYYY."
A fourth claimed, "I thought taylor swift said no photos with other women????" A fifth user who is expecting Swift's reaction to the video claimed, "Taylor been real quiet since this was posted."
Someone else explained, "Travis follows Livvy, but not Taylor. But we’re supposed to believe he’s in love with Taylor and not at all using her for fame and Hollywood opportunities. I’m gonna need Taylor to hurry up and realize she’s being used because the whole rest of the world can see it."
