‘Love this power couple’: Fans rejoice as Olivia Dunne shows up to support BF Paul Skenes' MLB debut with Pittsburgh Pirates

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: Fans and Major League Baseball (MLB) are excited about welcoming Olivia Dunne to the big leagues as her boyfriend Paul Skenes made his MLB debut.

While Paul Skenes is making a fine debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Skenes' gymnast influencer girlfriend and social media sensation Olivia Dunne aka Livvy has also entered her 'WAG era', which stands for 'wives and girlfriends'.

In a recent TikTok post, MLB hyped up Dunne’s arrival to PNC Park on Saturday, May 11, just as much as Skenes, showing Dunne’s excitement for her boyfriend’s debut in an interview with SportsNet Pittsburgh.

MLB captioned the post, "Livvy Dunne entering her MLB WAG era."

Dunne said in the post, "I always say, it’s way harder to be the person in the stands watching because I’m not in control," adding "I can’t control,  I don’t know how to throw a 100 mile (per hour) fastball, but it’s hard to have no control. Especially with gymnastics when you’re just watching. But I know he’s got this and I just have a lot of confidence in him."

One of the highest-paid NIL athletes in collegiate sports in the country, Dunne recently won an NCAA national championship with LSU's gymnastics squad. With over 13.3 million followers on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, her fans have been eagerly monitoring her profiles to look for any clues that Skenes would be called up.

Additionally, Skenes, the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft out of LSU, has dominated Triple-A Indianapolis over his first seven starts this season.
