LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Travis Kelce has reacted to Taylor Swift’s viral celebration during the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Indianapolis Colts on September 20.

Swift celebrated after Kelce scored a touchdown, pointing to her wedding ring and shouting, “That’s my husband!”

The moment quickly went viral, with Swift’s enthusiastic reaction drawing attention from fans online.

Kelce addressed the celebration on the September 23 episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s 'New Heights' podcast, where the NFL star joked about his wife’s reaction and the memes circulating online.

Kelce and Jason looked through memes about Swift’s reaction during the latest episode of 'New Heights.' Travis joked that his touchdown was part of his duties as a husband. “Just doing my deed as a husband,” Kelce said.

The Chiefs tight end also explained that he wanted to make his wife proud with his performance. 

“Listen man, proud wife, baby. Gotta make my girl proud,” Kelce said.

The brothers continued discussing the attention surrounding Swift’s celebration, with Kelce acknowledging the reaction it had received online. 

“Internet’s having a good old time with this,” Kelce said.

Swift’s celebration came after Kelce scored a touchdown during the Chiefs’ matchup with the Colts.

He caught a 13-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes before finding the end zone during the first quarter.

Swift was watching from the Chiefs’ suite when Kelce scored.

She was seen pointing to her wedding ring while celebrating the touchdown and shouting, “That’s my husband!”

The Chiefs went on to defeat the Colts 33-30.

The game also marked a career milestone for Kelce, who surpassed Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk for the NFL record for career receiving yards after the catch.

Kelce also discussed his touchdown play during the latest episode of 'New Heights,' explaining how he found an opening and connected with Mahomes.

“You got to find the void and, on top of that, be on time with the QB,” Kelce said.

He praised Mahomes for his throw, saying the quarterback “put the ball right on the money.”

Reflecting on the Chiefs’ victory, Kelce said the team was focused on doing its job while acknowledging there were still areas to improve.

“There was never a doubt in our mind that we were going to go out there and do our job,” Kelce said while adding, “there’s always something to do better.”
