WASHINGTON DC, UNITED STATES: Social media users were shocked and angered by a viral video featuring a Venezuelan migrant discussing squatting in empty houses in the United States and claiming control over them.

The video sparked strong reactions online, with some daring the individual to carry out the act, while others condemned him as 'evil'.

Venezuelan migrant asserts squatting houses in US will be next profession

Recently, a video shared by an X user Ian Miles Cheong showed a person, reportedly a Venezuelan migrant, angrily suggesting on social media that his followers should occupy empty houses in the United States and take control of them.

Cheong's caption read, "Venezuelan migrant tells his followers on social media that you can just squat in people's homes in the US to take them over."

The video showed the alleged Venezuelan migrant speaking in a different language, with subtitles indicating his plan. He mentioned, "My people have thought about invading a house in the United States because I learned that there is a law that says if a house is not inhabited we can expropriate it."

The subtitles also mentioned, "I think that will be my next business, invade abandoned houses." He also mentioned, "Since I have searched for some codes with my African friends and they told me that they already have about 7 expropriated houses."

The migrant suggested invading houses as a way to avoid homelessness, stating, "Since we are stuck in a street situation and it is the only way we have to avoid living on the street and not be a public burden."

Internet user call Venezuelan migrant 'evil person'

A user wrote, "Imagine the nerve of someone to not only take tax payer services, but to then steal the houses of those people who just gave you those services which include food and health care. This is a truly remarkably evil person."

Another user wrote, "Try it. I don't think anyone will know when illegals come up missing."

A user commented, "Is he declaring an invasion?"

Another user commented, "So if they are illegal nobody would know if they were missing correct …??"

A user stated, "ry squatting in a 2A home. See what happens to you."
