WASHINGTON, DC: Natalie Harp's "obsessive" behavior toward President Donald Trump sparked security concerns, journalist Michael Wolff has claimed in his recent book about the president.

The book titled, 'All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America', scheduled to be published on February 25, offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Trump's 2024 presidential election campaign.

Book claims Secret Service dubbed Natalie Harp a 'security consideration' due to her 'obsessive' behavior toward Donald Trump

Michael Wolff mentioned in his book that the 33-year-old was a member of a group of female staffers with whom the president reportedly had an "avuncular and flirtatious" relationship, as per The Telegraph

Harp reportedly wrote in a letter to Trump, "You are all that matters to me." During the first day of Trump's criminal trial in New York, she slipped him a letter that had Bible verses.

Wolff further wrote in his book that the "aggressiveness" of Harp's attention and her "fury" on being denied the attention of Trump sparked serious concerns within the security team.

The president went as far as to reject security concerns about Harp being allotted a desk outside the Oval Office in the White House, per the outlet. Trump had reportedly said at the time, "Nonsense... She just loves her president."

Moreover, as per the book, the MAGA spearhead's son, Eric Trump, also questioned Harp’s closeness to his father.

Wolff described Harp as a "time bomb" and further claimed that the Secret Service had termed her as a "security consideration."

He mentioned that Harp sat behind Trump in court daily during the criminal trial and carried a portable device to hand him "flattering stories held together by gold paper clips."

She also offered to go to jail for Trump in a bid to circumvent the gag order imposed by a judge, according to Wolff.

The prolific Trump biographer further wrote that Harp put through an expense bill for a new wardrobe and claimed that Trump told her to go shopping to prepare for being "on camera more frequently."

Donald Trump paid Natalie Harp $105K to show 'uplifting news articles'

In April 2024, Donald Trump faced flak after it was claimed that he paid Natalie Harp "$4,375 on a bimonthly basis, or $8,750 per month" to show uplifting new articles.

MeidasTouch reported at the time that many of these articles later made it up on Trump's Truth Social account, with redactions to avoid unfavorable press.

The outlet added, "If you are thinking about how much someone is compensated for printing out these articles, look no further than recent filings from the Trump campaign with the Federal Elections Commission, which show that Harp is paid $4,375 on a bimonthly basis, or $8,750 per month."
