WASHINGTON, DC: An enraged Donald Trump had a major meltdown on social media after the 165-page criminal indictment motion filed by Special Counsel Jack Smith against him was unsealed by Judge Tanya Chutkan on Wednesday, October 2.

According to Mediaite, the document provides a roadmap of the evidence that claims to show Trump “resorted to crimes to stay in office” in 2020, making a “private criminal effort” that was separate from his official presidential duties. It is the superseding indictment filed by Smith that was tailored around the presidential immunity ruling of SCOTUS earlier this year.

Trump faces four charges in the indictment — conspiracy to defraud the US, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights. The GOP presidential nominee has pleaded not guilty to all of them.

Donald Trump has a meltdown over unsealed documents

Taking to Truth Social, Donald Trump vented out his anger at the documents being unsealed by labeling the case as a hoax.

"Whether now the fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia, Iran, Iran, Iran, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, 51 intelligence agents, spying on my campaign, impeachment hoax number one, impeachment hoax number two, or any of the other scams, this illegal action taken by the justice department, including their raid on Mar-a-lago for a case that was dismissed, will end just like all of the others – with complete victory for 'President Donald J Trump.' Make America Great Again!" read his first post, written in all caps.

Shortly afterward, Trump alleged that the development was meant to distract voters from the subpar performance of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz against his Republican rival, JD Vance, in the debate that took place in New York the previous night.

"The release of this falsehood-ridden, Unconstitutional, J6 brief immediately following Tim Walz’s disastrous Debate performance, and 33 days before the Most Important Election in the History of our Country, is another obvious attempt by the Harris-Biden regime to undermine and Weaponize American Democracy, and INTERFERE IN THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION," stated the business tycoon in his second tweet.

"Deranged Jack Smith, the hand picked Prosecutor of the Harris-Biden DOJ, and Washington, D.C. based Radical Left Democrats, are HELL BENT on continuing to Weaponize the Justice Department in an attempt to cling to power," he continued.

"'TRUMP' is dominating the Election cycle, leading in the Polls, and the Radical Democrats throughout the Deep State are totally “freaking out.” This entire case is a Partisan, Unconstitutional, Witch Hunt, that should be dismissed, entirely, just like the Florida case was dismissed!" he further added.

Donald Trump trolled for blaming 'Deep State' for his indictment being unsealed

Social media users took to the comments section of the Mediaite article and brutally trolled the former president for launching into a tirade on social media and blaming the "Deep State" for his criminal indictment being unsealed.

"Trying to overturn an election behind the scenes with a cabal of government officials is the very definition of a ‘deep state’. Every Trump accusation is a confession," wrote a person.

"How dare the deep state show the proof of my criming before the election!!!" another said while mocking Trump.

"This wouldn't be coming out now if Trump hadn't purposefully delayed everything. Like all his calamities, this one is self-created," shared one individual.

"Call me crazy, but it sounds like HE is freaking out," noted one person.

"Another bad day for the worst person on Earth. Don't worry Donny, it won't get better!" wrote a fifth.

"The boy who cried 'hoax'!" added another.
