Trump attempts to cover mystery bruise on his hand with makeup despite claims of ‘excellent health’

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump once again used makeup to cover the visible bruising on his hand during a public appearance on the North Lawn on Wednesday, April 23.
The bruise, which has been consistently present for months, has raised concerns about the president’s health.
This isn’t the first time the mark has caught attention; in February, a similar bruise was noticed during Trump’s meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House.

Is Donald Trump using makeup to hide bruise on his hand?
According to the Irish Star, close-up photographs of President Donald Trump’s right hand revealed that he had applied concealer or foundation to cover a noticeable black-and-blue bruise.

Trump’s health has been closely scrutinized since he took office, with several signs of potential ailments emerging since January.
On March 2, he appeared to limp while joining his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, on stage at an event.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt explained, "President Trump is a man of the people. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day. President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s constantly working and shaking hands all day every day."

While this explanation seemed reasonable, it hasn’t been universally accepted by medical experts. Dr Stuart Fischer, in an interview with the Daily Mail, suggested that the bruise could be indicative of aging or other serious health conditions.
One possible cause for the bruise, according to Fischer, is osteoarthritis — a disease related to aging that leads to the degradation of cartilage and bones in the joints. Additionally, he noted that Trump’s blood vessels could have become more fragile with age.
What did Donald Trump's medical report reveal?

President Donald Trump, 78, released his much-anticipated medical report earlier this month.
The initial report, authored by Walter Reed physician Capt Sean P Barbabella, revealed that Trump underwent an "examination of the head, ears, nose, and throat," with no significant abnormalities detected, except for scarring on his right ear from a previous gunshot wound.
The report also noted some benign lesions, known as actinic keratosis (AK), which are rough, scaly patches on the skin caused by prolonged sun exposure.
"President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function," the summary of the report stated. "His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being. President Trump's days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events," it added.
The report concludes by affirming, "President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State."
This medical report follows Trump’s own remarks about his health and cognitive abilities. “I was there for a long time. I think I did very well," he said.
