WASHINGTON, DC: In a Truth Social post on Sunday, President Donald Trump criticized 'Fox News Sunday' host Shannon Bream and other Fox News executives for how they addressed the SAVE America Act and how the network's programming was set up.

Trump said in the post that the bill should be called the "Save America Act" instead of the "SAVE Act," arguing that the difference was important. He also criticized the guests and commentary on Bream's show, as well as other Fox News contributors.

Trump’s comments focused, in part, on how the proposed legislation was described during a Fox News segment. He said that referring to it as the SAVE Act was incorrect, insisting the proper name is the “Save America Act.”

“Tell Shannon Bream of FoxNews that it’s not the Save Act, it’s the Save America Act, a big difference!”

The president also shared that he disliked Bream's show because it wasn't "very hard hitting," and objected to Democratic Congressman Jake Auchincloss' appearance as a guest. Trump claimed that when Democrats speak on these shows, their views are never challenged.

He further argued that the hosts should correct what he called "Democrat propaganda and lies." Trump pointed further out how such corrections are often missing from the show.

"Also, when she insists on having lightweight Democrat Congressmen, such as Jake Auchincloss, on her not very hard hitting show, she should correct them when they spew out Democrat propaganda and lies. She never does!" the president said about Bream.

Comments extend to other hosts, past policy claims

Trump also directly addressed Fox News executives and asked them to fire commentator Jessica Tarlov. He said that people disliked on-air presence and commentary and claimed that viewers don't like her appearances.

“For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air. She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst ‘personalities’ on television, a real loser!” he stated.

“People cannot stand watching her. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT,” he concluded.

Trump also touted his own record of closing deals, saying, he had successfully negotiated deals and handled relations with China well. He said that his approach was different from that of Democrats, but he didn't give any specifics in the post.

“I always close deals, unlike the Dems, and did great with China in every way, also, unlike the Dems!”

The comments are part of Trump’s broader use of social media to respond to media coverage and political developments.

He has frequently used Truth Social to share views on television networks, public figures and policy issues.
