Trump blasts Tucker Carlson as ‘low IQ,’ says ‘I don’t deal with fools’
WASHINGTON, DC: The simmering rift between President Donald Trump and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is out in the open.
Hours after Tucker Carlson accused Trump of driving the United States towards a full-blown nuclear war, Trump responded sharply.
On April 7, Tuesday, Trump called Tucker's low IQ' as he spoke to 'New York Post.'
President Trump went off on Carlson when I asked him about this nonsense this morning.

Trump tears into 'low IQ' Tucker Carlson
Trump’s response, delivered in an interview, was swift and deeply personal, signaling that the disagreement has moved beyond policy into outright hostility.
“Tucker’s a low-IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” Trump said.
“He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls. I don’t deal with him.”
He then went on to say, “I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”
The comments mark one of Trump’s most direct public breakups with a former ally who once amplified his messaging to a massive audience.

Tucker Carlson's blistering attack against Trump
On a recent episode of 'The Tucker Carlson Show', Carlson didn’t mince words while reacting to Trump’s threats against Iran, particularly comments made around Easter.
“Desecrating Easter was the first step toward nuclear war. Christians need to understand where Trump is taking us,” he said, framing the situation as an urgent moral and geopolitical crisis.
He went further, calling on those inside the administration to resist if necessary.
“Those people who are in direct contact with the president need to say, ‘No, I’ll resign. I’ll do whatever I can do legally to stop this because this is insane.’”
Carlson highlighted the gravity of his concern by invoking the nuclear chain of command.
“Figure out the codes on the nuclear football yourself because everything hangs in the balance right now. This is not hysteria, this is 100% real.”
Trump Vs Carlson: the building of a feud
This isn’t the first sign of tension between the two.
In recent days, Trump has amplified criticism of Carlson, including sharing an article that described Carlson as “deranged” and accused him of promoting fringe viewpoints.
In a lengthy conversation just now, President Trump hit back at Tucker Carlson who called the Iran war “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

The frustration has been simmering for months.
In an earlier interview, Trump dismissed Carlson outright, “Tucker has lost his way. he’s not MAGA and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”
