WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump slammed "weaklings" and "past supporters" in a social media post, where he said they were buying into the Jeffrey Epstein hoax. He added that he doesn’t even want their support anymore.

In a long Truth Social post, the president dismissed the uproar over the Epstein files as a "scam" perpetuated by Democrats, and suggested he no longer welcomed his past supporters who have called for more transparency around the documents.

Donald Trump, on Wednesday, July 16, wrote on Truth Social, "Unlike Republicans, they [Democrats] stick together like glue. Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bulls**t,’ hook, line, and sinker."

He also mentioned, "They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years."

"Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats' work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" the POTUS concluded.

Trump was asked about the Epstein drama during an Oval Office meeting on Wednesday, with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and blasted the controversy again as a "big hoax".

The president said, "I’ve lost a lot of faith in certain people, yeah, I’ve lost. Because they got duped by the Democrats."

"It’s all been a big hoax. It’s perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net and so they and do the Democrats’ work," Trump added.

He also said, "The Democrats are good for nothing other than these hoaxes. They’re bad for policy. They’re bad for picking candidates that can get elected, like in New York, we have a Communist [Zohran Mamdani] running. He may get elected to it, actually, but he’ll destroy the city."

Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi have come under fire from conservatives across the US for declining to release the Epstein files in their entirety.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI stated last week that they found no evidence that the disgraced financier kept a "client list" of associates.

Internet trolls Donald Trump for his Truth social post

Several internet users took a jibe at Donald Trump as he slammed "weaklings" and his "past supporters" in a Truth Social post, and added that he doesn’t even want their support anymore.

A user wrote on X, "So answer it. The more you avoid it the worse you look," while one added, "I am so disgusted by this post."

A person also stated, "How to lose the midterms 101," whereas one mentioned, "Trump just said he no longer wants 90% of his supporters lmao."

Another user also wrote, "He should tell the victims it’s all a hoax. Bondi said there were over 250 of them. Invite them all to the White House and tell them that to their faces," while one commented, "You seem to have forgotten who you work for. That new tone towards your base sounds a lot like deep state arrogance."

A person also mentioned, "This isn't convincing anyone and actually making it worse," whereas one stated, "Nice trying to change the subject. The Epstein Files will haunt your presidency till the end."
