LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Former President Donald Trump is celebrating the win of Nevada GOP US Senate candidate Sam Brown, proudly labeling him as “endorsed by President Trump.”

Despite waiting until the final day of voting to endorse Brown, even after holding his rally in Las Vegas, Trump is taking credit for the victory.

Sam Brown's poll lead contradicts MAGA base preference

Sam Brown, who had been leading significantly in the polls, was not the preferred candidate for the MAGA base. An April poll showed Brown ahead by over 50 points.

However, many MAGA supporters viewed Brown as a RINO (Republican In Name Only) and a choice of establishment figure Mitch McConnell.

Trump's delayed endorsement has become a point of pride for the former president, who is celebrating as if his support was pivotal. By not endorsing a more ideologically aligned candidate earlier, Trump effectively allowed Brown, who had previously lost two elections, and his campaign to solidify.

Donald Trump faces allegations of selling endorsements

Jeff Gunther, a Trump-supporting candidate who was present at Trump's rally, has accused Trump of selling his endorsement to Brown, as per MTN. Gunther alleged that a large financial contribution influenced Trump's decision.

While no concrete evidence has been presented for this claim, Gunther's accusations highlight the controversies surrounding Trump's endorsement practices. Trump had a substantial fundraiser before he endorsed Brown, which has fueled further speculation.

Netizens react to Sam Brown's victory

A social user tweeted, "You should not be honored by his endorsement. You earned your honor, and he has none to give."

"I got cash money that says Trump will move heaven and earth to keep from having to take a picture with him. He's a child who can't handle shit like burn victims living their lives. Grosses him out. He can't take it," another added.

"Rofl. Dumb," mocked a user. "He is a RINO sadly. reminds me of Crenshaw," chimed another chairbound user.

"Trumps endorsement is like lightning yourself on fire unfortunately," read a tweet.

"Endorsed by a convicted felon," added a user.

Another added, "You just got the kiss of death. Say goodbye to your campaign."
