WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, accusing Democrats of using protests as a cover for what he called their criminal behavior of theft and insurrection.

Across the United States, demonstrators organized boycotts of schools, workplaces, and shopping to oppose Trump’s immigration enforcement efforts, many chanting “ICE out” while marching through downtown crowds. The “no work, no school, no shopping” strike aimed to highlight growing public anger over federal immigration actions.

He said, "Republicans, don’t let these Crooked Democrats, who are stealing Billions of Dollars from Minnesota, and other Cities and States from all over the Country, push you around."

He claimed that Democrats were using protests as a “scam” to distract from what he called their “criminal acts of theft and insurrection.”

Trump expressed his anger again in the post, writing, “They should all be in jail. I was elected on strong borders and law and order, among many other things.”

In his Truth Social post, President Trump defended Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, criticizing her detractors.

He wrote, "The Radical Left Lunatics, Insurrectionists, Agitators, and Thugs, are going after Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security, because she is a woman, and has done a really GREAT JOB!"

Trump also attacked former President Joe Biden, claiming the former administration allowed violent criminals into the country. "The Border disaster that I inherited is fixed, the violent criminals that were allowed into our Country through Sleepy Joe’s “sick” Open Border Policy, are largely gone, or being strongly sought for purposes of removal, and the Murder Rate in the USA just reached the lowest level in history, 125 years!"

He added, "Washington, DC, is now one of the safest cities in America - Likewise, numerous other once very dangerous cities!"

The post concluded with Trump reaffirming his priorities and praising Noem: "I was elected on Strong Borders, and Law and Order, among many other things. Thank you to Secretary Kristi Noem. Remember, Elections have consequences!!! President Donald J Trump."

Tom Homan remains firm on Trump’s ICE operation mission

Speaking at his first press conference since arriving, Tom Homan, recently appointed by Trump following two fatal shootings, emphasized that he plans to remain until order is fully restored.

“I’ve been on the ground less than three full days,” Homan said. “I’m staying until the problem’s gone, but we’ve made a lot of progress, a lot of progress, in the last few days.”

“We can do better,” he added. “And I thank the local state leaders for meeting with me. We made some significant gains, significant coordination and cooperation, and you’re going to see some massive changes occurring here in this city.”

"We will conduct targeted enforcement operations. Targeted with a prioritization on public safety threats. I want to be clear - we are not surrendering the president’s mission on immigration enforcement," he concluded.
