WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump announced the new range of his $100K luxury watches over social media and was instantly ridiculed for it.

The former president, who posted about the gold watches on his social media platform Truth Social, coincided with his wife’s interview on rising prices of necessary household items and its affordability.

What did Melania Trump say about inflation?

Melania Trump, the former first lady shared with Fox & Friends, “How I see it is, the record speaks for itself. The country is suffering. People are not able to buy the usual necessities for their families. We have wars going on around the world. Soldiers are dying. They were dying under this administration because of weak leadership. The border is open and dangerous.”

She continued, “I think the American people need to decide what they really want. Maybe some strong tweets, but everything else great for this country. So it’s all in the American people’s hands on November 5,” reported Mediaite.

Interestingly, the same day Trump posted, “The Official Trump Watch Collection is here, and these Watches are truly special — You’re going to love them. Would make a great Christmas Gift. Don’t wait, they will go fast. GET YOUR TRUMP WATCH RIGHT NOW!” while sharing the link to make an order.

Donald Trump was mocked for launching $100K watch as Republicans complain about rising inflation

Netizens called out Donald Trump for selling expensive gold watches amid struggling economy. Many slammed the former president's double standards as he campaigns throughout the country.

A person wrote on X, "MAGA: Look at my new Trump patriot watch! Also MAGA: Buh, the price of eggs! 🥚"

"I'm no watch expert but that looks cheap as shit," another commented.

Another user trolled, "Yesterday's talking point: People can't afford a dozen eggs. Today's talking point: Buy this fugazi watch for the low low price of whatever you got on you."

"Meanwhile, the s*ckers who buy this junk are complaining that the Biden economy is killing them & they cant afford gas & groceries," one joined in.

Another voiced, "I'm going to take a wild guess that his average supporters aren't buying $100k watches (while simultaneously complaining about the cost of eggs.) Seems like those who want to funnel money to him while circumventing campaign finance laws might be his target audience."

"He knowns he will loose! One last grift before he flees to Venezuela," a user shared.
