WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump renewed his attacks on former President Joe Biden’s use of an autopen, insisting that anything Biden signed with the device is “null and void.”

Trump repeated a claim he first made in a March post, where he argued that Biden’s autopen-signed orders were invalid. In June, Trump also launched an investigation into Biden’s use of the autopen.

Trump attacks Biden’s use of autopen for executive orders

Trump declared on Tuesday, December 2, that anything former President Joe Biden signed with an autopen has no further effect.

In a Truth Social post, Trump again attacked Biden’s use of the device for executive orders. He wrote that “any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized ‘autopen,’ within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect."

Trump also stated that his claim applies to anyone who received a pardon from Biden, including Hunter Biden. He wrote, "Anyone receiving ‘Pardons,’ ‘Commutations,’ or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Trump says 92% of docs signed in Biden’s presidency were executed by autopen

On Friday, November 28, Trump claimed that 92% of documents signed during Biden’s presidency were executed by a machine.

In his Truth Social post, he wrote, “Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby terminated, and of no further force or effect."

Trump went on to argue that the autopen “is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States,” and accused “Radical Left Lunatics” of taking the presidency away from Biden.

He then declared, “I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally."

Trump concluded his message by asserting that Biden “was not involved in the Autopen process and, if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Trump previously threatened to take legal action against Biden’s use of the autopen

Trump’s latest attack followed a March post in which he threatened legal action over Biden’s use of an autopen.

In that earlier Truth Social message, Trump claimed, “The ‘Pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared Void, Vacant, And of no further force or effect, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen.

In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them!”

Trump went on to allege that Biden’s aides had “abused the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline and assert Article II authority.”

He described what he called a “conspiracy” as “one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history."

Trump concluded his March post by claiming that, "The American public was purposefully shielded from discovering who wielded the executive power, all while Biden’s signature was deployed across thousands of documents to effect radical policy shifts."
