NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Donald Trump is calling for the outright dismissal of two high-profile New York cases against him after his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, claimed he was strong-armed by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and NY AG Letitia James into tailoring testimony to nail the commander-in-chief.

Trump declared the cases dead in the water in a Truth Social post on Tuesday, June 2.

"When a Star Witness totally recants, and in every way reveals that he was pressured and coerced to give testimony, and when the Prosecutor admits that this Witness was the single reason that the case was brought, there was no other, how can that Case not be immediately dismissed?" Trump wrote.

"That is exactly what happened in the Democrat New York Attorney General and Manhattan District Attorney’s Hoaxes against me. Michael Cohen has come out and unequivocally stated that the Radical Left Prosecutors, Tish James and Alvin Bragg, pressured and coerced him to testify against your favorite President, ME, when they made him the key player in their Political Witch Hunts," he continued.

Michael Cohen says he 'felt pressured and coerced'

In January, Cohen took to Substack with a stunning admission.

"I felt pressured and coerced to only provide information and testimony that would satisfy the government’s desire to build the cases against and secure a judgment and convictions against President Trump," Cohen wrote.

He accused both offices of pursuing glory by taking down Trump. "Letitia James and Alvin Bragg may not share the same office or political calendar, but they share the same playbook," he insisted.

Cohen clarified that his revelation was not meant to “defend Donald Trump, nor to relitigate his conduct.”

“You may reasonably ask why I am speaking out now. The answer is simple,” he wrote. “I have witnessed firsthand the damage done when prosecutors pick their target first and then seek evidence to fit a predetermined narrative.”

Trump may be forced to sell off his properties after Justice Arthur Engoron canceled his business certificates and ruled that he committed fraud for years while building his real estate empire after being sued by Attorney General Letitia James, seeking $250 million in damages. Trump has long claimed there was no merit to either case and called the situation a “set up."

"These horrible Radical Left people, doing everything possible to destroy our Country, should pay a big price for this!" he posted shortly after Cohen published the article. "It was a SET UP from the beginning. New York Courts, with many fair and wonderful Judges, are embarrassed by what has happened! We cannot let this pass.”

Last September, Trump pushed Attorney General Pam Bondi to go after James on charges of mortgage fraud. A US District Court judge dismissed the case, ruling that Trump’s handpicked US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was unlawfully appointed. The DOJ tried twice more to indict James, but the federal grand juries returned no true bills over a lack of evidence.

Trump's lawyers have already fired off demands for all communications between Cohen and James' office, calling the Substack post "revelatory," per the New York Post.

Trump says he's an 'innocent man' who has been 'horribly treated'

The president doubled down in his Tuesday post.

"Now that his testimony is wiped away, and the unAmerican, Political Charade 'Cases' are even further discredited, they should be put out of their misery, and dismissed, once and for all," he declared. "Our Constitution, and the Rule of Law, demand immediate and swift dismissal, as well as for the Perpetrators of the Radical Left Lawfare and Weaponization to be held criminally responsible for their terrible misdeeds. We have to restore Confidence and Honor in our Justice System."
