Laura Loomer fires back after Ossoff's Natalie Harp jab, accuses media of pushing 'nasty lie'
WASHINGTON,DC: Laura Loomer is pushing back hard against Sen Jon Ossoff after the Georgia Democrat dragged one of President Donald Trump’s most trusted aides, Natalie Harp, into a political attack on the president.
Loomer, on Monday, August 17, accused reporters and political figures of trying to manufacture a salacious story around Trump and Harp, insisting there is nothing improper about their relationship.
She also condemned what she called a misogynistic double standard toward women who work closely with powerful men.
Natalie Harp is a great person and the attacks on her are disgusting. For weeks now, reporters have called me and asked me to say something derogatory about her. I will not do that. Natalie is a cancer survivor who credits President Trump with saving her life. If you are a…

Loomer rejects 'misogyny' against Harp
Loomer made clear on X that she had no intention of feeding speculation about Harp.
Instead, she defended the Trump aide and directly challenged the narrative she says reporters have repeatedly tried to push.
According to Loomer, journalists have contacted her for weeks asking her to make negative comments about Harp.
She said she repeatedly refused, describing Harp as “a great person” and praising her loyalty to Trump.
Loomer also pointed to Harp’s personal history, noting that she is a cancer survivor who has credited Trump with helping save her life.
But Loomer’s strongest objection was directed at the suggestion that Harp and Trump are romantically involved. She flatly rejected it.
“No, she is not having an affair with President Trump,” Loomer wrote.
She argued that the allegation was not merely gossip but part of an attempt to portray women who work closely with successful men in an inappropriate way.
Loomer said she had personally faced a similar accusation after comedian Bill Maher suggested on his show that she was involved romantically with Trump following her travel with him to the 2024 presidential debate.
Calling the allegations “derogatory” and “misogynistic,” Loomer questioned why a woman working closely with a powerful male political figure should automatically become the subject of speculation.

Ossoff's bizarre remark against Natalie Harp
The controversy began after Ossoff, on Sunday, August 16 mentioned Harp while attacking Trump during a political event.
The Democratic senator was criticizing Trump over the extended deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln and the conditions facing sailors aboard the aircraft carrier.
Ossoff accused Trump of being distracted from his presidential responsibilities, claiming the president was spending his time golfing, trading stocks, working on his White House ballroom and traveling with Harp.
He described Trump as wanting to “travel with Natalie” rather than focus on the issues he said mattered to Americans.

Natalie Harp is one of Trump’s most trusted aides and has earned her name as “human printer,” carrying printouts and helping shape his social-media posts.
A cancer survivor, she credits Trump’s 'Right to Try' law with helping save her life and has remained fiercely loyal to him.
