NEW YORK: In a fiery tirade on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump has lambasted Fox News, insisting that he and his supporters can win the 2024 presidential election without the network’s support.

His outburst was prompted by Fox News covering Democratic presidential frontrunner Vice President Kamala Harris' rallies and airing ads from the Lincoln Project.

“Why is FoxNews putting on Crazy Kamala Harris Rallies? Why do they allow the perverts at the failed and disgraced Lincoln Project to advertise on FoxNews?” Trump fumed on Monday, July 29. “Even Mr Kellyanne Conway, a man so badly hurt and humiliated by his wife (she must have done some really NASTY things to him, because he is CRAZY!), is advertising on FoxNews. We have to WIN WITHOUT FOX!”

Donald Trump’s fury intensifies after poll shows Kmala Harris leading in key states

In his latest surge on Truth Social, Donald Trump has intensified his criticism of Kamala Harris, labeling her as "dangerously liberal" and sharing videos targeting her. In bold statements, he predicts she will be a "disaster for the USA!"

The frustration of the convicted 45th President appears to be fueled by a Fox News poll from July 22 to 24, which shows Harris either leading or nearly tied with Trump in key battleground states like Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Trump’s dissatisfaction with Fox News extends to his views on debates. Following recent news, he suggested that if Joe Biden were to drop out of the race, the debate should be hosted by Fox News.

"Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, quit the race, I think the debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on Fox News, rather than the very biased ABC," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Thank you!"

Kamala Harris's campaign raises $200M amid Biden's exit

Since Joe Biden exited the race on July 21, Democrats have swiftly rallied behind Kamala Harris. Nevertheless, the presidential frontrunner has gained significant traction, raising $200 million in just one week following Biden's exit and endorsement, per CBS.

She now has less than 100 days to demonstrate her candidacy to voters before the November 5 election.

However, Biden's decision not to run for reelection has sparked criticism from some Republicans, including Trump, who suggested that if Biden "can't run for office, he can't run our country."

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed these calls as "ridiculous," emphasizing that Biden is committed to completing his term and continuing his work. "The president decided to not run for reelection," she claimed. "That's it. That's all he decided on. He wants to continue to do the work."

Netizens react to Donald Trump's outburst

Donald Trump’s recent tirade against Fox News has sparked a flurry of social media reactions, with users weighing in on his frustration and its broader implications.

"He whines too much," a social media user tweeted.

"He’s weird, man," said another user.

"Trump wants Fox to be his propaganda outlet, Murdoch has a different idea. If trump wins he will 'officially' shut the free press down," read a tweet. A user simply responded with a laughing emoji.
