WASHINGTON, DC: Sydney Sweeney just scored a huge fan at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

President Donald Trump lit up when he found out the 'Euphoria' stunner is a registered Republican, giving her sizzling (and controversial) American Eagle campaign a major thumbs up.

“She’s a registered Republican?” Trump reacted when a reporter told him about "hot actress" Sweeney and the ad controversy. “Oh, now I love her ad," he quipped.

“You’d be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That’s what I wouldn’t have known, but I’m glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic," he added.

Left fumes at Sydney Sweeney's 'great jeans' ad, but the right's loving it

The blonde bombshell has been catching heat over her new denim campaign, which features the tagline — “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans.”

But not everyone read that as just a cheeky pun. Critics on the left accused the brand’s play on "genes" versus "jeans" of echoing eugenics-era slogans.

The 27-year-old actress says in the clip, “Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue."

Some dubbed it “tone-deaf” and full of racial undertones, while others clapped back saying the whole thing was just a playful pun — and a refreshing break from overly “woke” campaigns.

In one now-viral promo, Sweeney walks up to a billboard with the original “Genes” line, crosses it out, scribbles in “Jeans,” and struts off like a boss.

JD Vance mocks liberal meltdown

Even Vice President JD Vance got in on the denim drama, roasting the left for losing it over what he says is just a classic American ad with a classic American beauty.

“So you have a pretty girl doing a jeans ad, and they can’t help but freak out. It reveals a lot more about them than it does us. No question,” Vance said on the 'Ruthless Podcast'. “My political advice to the Democrats is continue to tell everybody who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is a Nazi,” he snarked.

“That appears to be their actual strategy. I mean, it actually reveals something pretty interesting about the Dems, though, which is that you have a normal all-American, beautiful girl doing like a normal jeans ad. They’re trying to sell jeans to kids in America, and they have managed to so unhinge themselves over this thing. And it’s like, you guys, did you learn nothing from the November 2024 election?” Vance added.

Meanwhile, the brand behind the denim storm tried to keep things simple and chill. “‘Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story,” American Eagle said in a statement. “Great jeans look good on everyone.”

However, Sweeney herself has not responded to the controversy.

MAGA crowd praises Donald Trump's wit as he gushes over Sydney Sweeney's ad

Donald Trump’s shout-out turned Sydney Sweeney into a right-wing icon in record time, as the MAGA crowd gushed over the president's comments.

“Trump just gave the best endorsement money can’t buy... Sydney Sweeney just went from Hollywood darling to MAGA legend in 5 seconds flat,” one posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“I don’t understand how you can’t NOT LOVE this dude! He’s endless entertainment, he’s stopping wars, and saving the BEST country! What more does he have to do?!” another cheered.

“Trump is a straight-up comedian all day. Reminds me of Don Rickles, straight one liners,” one more gushed, whereas someone else added, “That’s the charm — sharp, real, and straight from the gut. Trump’s wit always lands with power,” another

“Trump needs to invite her to the White House. That photo op would melt the left’s skulls,” an individual wrote.
