Trump insiders fear Kimberly Guilfoyle’s alleged ‘burn book’ could expose family secrets: Report
WASHINGTON, DC: Allies of President Donald Trump are reportedly concerned that Kimberly Guilfoyle could reveal private information about the Trump family after resigning as US ambassador to Greece amid allegations of misconduct.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, sources close to the president fear Guilfoyle has kept a so-called “burn book” containing details about the family and its political circle.
The former fiancee of Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, has denied the allegations against her and vowed to defend her reputation.
Trump allies fear Kimberly Guilfoyle’s family secrets
Guilfoyle, 57, was part of Trump’s inner circle during her six-year relationship with Donald Trump Jr, which ended in 2024. She was subsequently appointed US ambassador to Greece and assumed the position on November 4, 2025.
Don Jr has since married Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson.
Sources cited in the report alleged that some Trump allies had tried to preserve Guilfoyle’s position because they feared she might return to the United States angry over her departure and disclose private conversations or information about the family.
“Having her back in America would be a nightmare. Kimberly knows where the bodies are buried,” one source told the newspaper. “She knows the people, the secrets, the fights, the relationships.”
Another insider said that “Kimberly knows everything” and was “way inside that family and political operation for years.”
The report described the alleged collection of information as a “burn book.”
However, when asked about Guilfoyle’s departure, Trump distanced her from his family, saying, “no, she wasn't a member of my family. She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago.”
Trump in March: Kimberly Guilfoyle has been my friend for a long time. I love calling her Kimberlay. That’s my little pet name, right? But you are the greatest... Trump today: She was not a member of my family. I guess she dated my son a long time ago. https://t.co/Mh2nuO8R9j

Guilfoyle has strongly rejected the allegations against her in a statement following the announcement of her resignation.
She said she intended to defend her name and professional record while maintaining her support for Trump.
Serving as the United States Ambassador to Greece has been the honor of a lifetime. I will forever be grateful to President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio for entrusting me with the extraordinary privilege of representing the greatest country in the history of the world. From my first day as Ambassador, I have worked tirelessly to advance President Trump’s America First agenda, strengthen our strategic alliance with Greece, and deliver meaningful victories for the American people. During my tenure, we have helped secure historic agreements to expand American liquefied natural gas exports to Europe, advanced the Vertical Corridor to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian energy, strengthened our defense and security partnership with a critical NATO ally, and expanded opportunities for American businesses and investment throughout the region. I am especially proud of the role our Embassy has played in strengthening American energy dominance, advancing economic cooperation, and ensuring that the United States remains the indispensable leader in Southeast Europe. These accomplishments are a testament to President Trump’s bold leadership, Secretary Rubio’s commitment to American diplomacy, and the extraordinary men and women who serve our country every day. I also want to address the recent allegations against me. These allegations are false, and I intend to vigorously defend my name, my reputation, and my integrity. I have dedicated my professional life to fighting for justice, standing up for what is right, and defending the values that make America exceptional. I will not allow false accusations to define my decades of public service. My gratitude and respect for President Trump and Secretary Rubio remain unwavering. I am proud of what we accomplished together, and I will always be a loyal supporter of President Trump and his mission to Make America Great Again. While my time as Ambassador may be coming to an end, my commitment to President Trump, the America First movement, and the country I love will never end. It has been the honor of my lifetime to serve the United States of America. My deepest heartfelt appreciation to the people of Greece for their hospitality, partnership, and welcoming me with open arms. God bless President Trump, God bless our incredible diplomats and service members, and God bless the United States of America.

Misconduct allegations surround Guilfoyle’s Greece tenure
Guilfoyle’s departure was announced after reports about her conduct during her time at the US Embassy in Athens surfaced.
The Wall Street Journal reported that she had promoted a Greek construction company whose lobbyist was among her advisers. The report prompted scrutiny of her connections to business interests in Greece.
A separate report published on October 7 alleged that Guilfoyle had asked former Trump donor Eric Deters to pay a $100,000 American Express bill shortly before her Senate confirmation hearing in 2025.
According to text messages reported by the Journal, she asked him to arrange the payment without leaving a paper trail. Deters did not pay the bill, according to the report.
Guilfoyle’s attorneys have, however, disputed the allegations of impropriety. They said the money she sought from Deters was related to unpaid services, including public appearances and speaking engagements, provided before her nomination.
They also rejected claims of wrongdoing concerning private travel, saying she had followed State Department guidance.
