TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND: President Donald Trump’s five-day visit to Scotland sparked a wave of online scrutiny and ridicule after new images highlighted his visibly thinning hair and reignited concerns about his physical and cognitive health.

Photos taken during his appearance at the Turnberry golf resort showed Trump’s hair swept aside by the wind, exposing a severely receding hairline and patchy scalp.

The images quickly spread across X, Threads, and Facebook, where users mocked his appearance and speculated about his well-being.

“That hair is holding on for dear life, like it knows the lies are catching up,” one X user quipped. “It’s not a style, it’s a struggle. You can spray it, swirl it, and hope nobody notices… but just like the truth, it always finds a way through.”

Another wrote, “This is MAGA morons' cult hero. Let them frame this picture to worship this bozo. For anyone else, can you count the number of individual strands of hair on the top of his head in this amazing combover?”

A third added, “He looks a mess, sounds a mess, and acts a mess! No redeeming qualities at all.”

Other users chimed in: “He cheats on everything, even his hairline,” and “You clearly can see the toupee.”

Trump has long denied rumors that he wears a toupee, insisting his hair is natural. But the new visuals have reignited public skepticism, fueling jokes and memes across platforms.

Donald Trump’s appearance fuels health concerns

Beyond cosmetic commentary, other images from the trip showed Donald Trump’s ankles appearing swollen and a recurring bruise on his right hand, both of which have raised red flags before.

Critics online pointed to the signs as indicators of declining health.

“Donald Trump is disintegrating before our eyes,” an X user wrote. “His health is failing.”

“I think Trump is ill. His hair is drastically thinning,” another user posted.

One user supported Trump and wrote, "Okay? What's your point? That he's an old man?"

Donald Trump diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency

Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a condition that occurs when leg veins struggle to return blood to the heart.

The diagnosis followed reports of mild leg swelling and visible bruising on the back of his hand, which had sparked public speculation.

According to White House physician Dr Sean Barbabella, a full vascular assessment was conducted, including bilateral venous Doppler ultrasounds, which confirmed the CVI diagnosis.

“No blood clots or arterial blockages were detected,” the doctor noted.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared details of the medical memo during a briefing and made the full document public. The memo explained that CVI is common in individuals over 70 and is generally not considered serious.

Additional tests, including a complete blood count, metabolic panel, coagulation profile, and echocardiogram, all returned normal results. The echocardiogram confirmed normal heart structure and function.

The bruising on Trump's hand, the memo said, was “consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin,” which he takes for cardiovascular prevention.

Despite the diagnosis, Trump’s medical team affirmed that he is in “excellent health” and fully capable of carrying out his presidential duties.
