JUNEAU, WISCONSIN: Former President Donald Trump compared himself to a fly during a Wisconsin rally, suggesting he would be "aggressive" for the country just like the "aggressive sucker" creature.

Campaigning in Juneau on Sunday, October 6, the Republican presidential nominee spotted a fly buzzing near his podium and immediately trailed off his speech, as per The Mirror US.

Trump attempted to swat the creature away, stating he does not like flies.

"Never been a big fan of flies," he said, earning laughter from the audience.

"This is a very aggressive sucker, like I’m going to be aggressive for our country, you can probably say," Trump continued, likening himself to the fly that distracted him.

Trump's loss of his chain of thought occurred less than a month before Election Day. To boost the former president's support in the key battleground state, Senate candidate Eric Hovde, Sen Ron Johnson, and Rep Bryan Steil joined him onstage, addressing the nearly 17,000 attendees.

Trump also deployed his fear-mongering tactic, warning the crowd that "this country is finished" if he lost the election to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Further, he urged the Badger State voters to submit their mail-in absentee ballots "as soon as possible" or make use of the in-person absentee voting options.

A recent poll by the Marquette School of Law showed that Harris led Trump by 4 points in Wisconsin. Meanwhile, the Trafalgar Group survey placed the ex-president ahead of his Democratic rival by a razor-thin majority - 47.1% to the VP's 46% support.

Nevertheless, the real estate mogul appeared confident to win Wisconsin in November.

"They say that Wisconsin is probably the toughest of the swing states to win. I don't think so at all, we have got the biggest crowds," he said at the rally. "If we get just the people here to vote, I think we win."

Trump's swing state rally came less than a week after Harris rallied in Ripon, the birthplace of the modern GOP, with former Republican Rep Liz Cheney.

The vice president touted herself against her opponent, pointing fingers at his denial of the 2020 Democratic victory and his failure to stop the January 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection. In a nod to Cheney's endorsement, Harris stated that to defeat Trump, "people of every party must stand together."

Internet mocks Trump for likening himself to a fly at Wisconsin rally

Trump, being distracted by the fly and comparing himself to the "aggressive" creature, sparked ridicule online. Netizens poked fun at his weird nature, obsession with the insect, and lack of brain function.

"Trump knows even the flies have endorsed Kamala," a user quipped.

"His fly fear is getting weirder and weirder," another said.

"Literally no higher brain function, is there... just whatever happens to be going on around him, whatever pops into his head," a third user added.

"Just like MAGAts, they follow Trump wherever he goes," someone else wrote.

"If he’d bathe more often and change his suit out every three years or so he wouldn’t have to worry about the flies," another joked.

"THis dude is so cooked man. If I didn’t know he didn’t drink I’d assume he was drunk, he’s just that far gone," read a sixth response.

"Bernie gets his bird, Pence gets his fly, Trump gets SWARMS OF FLIES - I'm telling you, the animals KNOW," an individual wrote.

"Just a crazy old man rambling away to himself while we watch him fully descend into the darkness of his own mind," one user added.
