WASHINGTON, DC: A new book titled 'The Achievements of Kamala Harris' has hit Amazon's bestseller list and left the internet in stitches. Here's why: every page in the book is completely blank.

The satirical masterpiece was co-authored by Jason Dudash and illustrated by Michael Boles. And whether you love or loathe Vice President Kamala Harris, this book has people from across the aisle rolling on the floor with laughter.

Satirical bestseller with hilarious reviews

On October 7, a social media user shared a video showing the book on display at Walmart. The clip — originally posted on TikTok — shows a person casually browsing through the store’s book section when they come across a book with Harris' face plastered on the cover.

Promising to list all of her achievements, the book seems legit—until the person picks it up, flips through it, and is met with... nothing. Just a bunch of blank pages with a few bold words scattered here and there for effect.

The X (formerly Twitter) user who posted the video couldn't help but laugh as he shared it with the caption, “Walmart is now selling a new book titled The Achievements of Kamala Harris—and all the pages are blank. This is INCREDIBLE.” The video quickly went viral on tech billionaire Elon Musk's platform, racking up over 2 million views and thousands of retweets.

While it started as a joke, 'The Achievements of Kamala Harris' became a runaway success — even topping Amazon's bestseller list. According to the book’s description, it’s "an entirely fact-based report based on Harris' votes, statements, and actions throughout her life in public office."

However, the co-authors cleverly posted a hilarious disclaimer: "Due to lefty lawyers, we must include that this book is mostly empty."

Despite—or perhaps because of—the book's blank pages, it’s garnered a host of clever reviews. One reader joked that the book “inspired” them, while another sarcastically praised it as a "brutally honest read" about the Vice President.

Social media has a field day with Kamala Harris and new book

Many on social media offered their hilarious takes on the book.

"Only $16.00? It's priceless," one posted on X.

"Bestseller in no time whoever wrote that is savage," a second user added.

"That's cool, you can just write whatever you want in it, make stuff up. Just like they do," another chimed in.

"I might actually go buy one just for giggles," read a comment.

"Omg if this is real I'm going to have it shipped anonymously to all my friends on the left!" someone else offered.

"I wonder how it sounds like for an audiobook version? Probably the same sound as Mars," another quipped.

The timing of this viral sensation is quite significant. It comes as the 2024 presidential race is in full throttle, where Harris is running as the Democratic presidential nominee. Both Harris and former president Donald Trump are neck and neck in the polls, each vying for the votes of undecided voters in critical swing states.
