WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden expressed concern over the upcoming presidential race.

During a White House press conference, the 81-year-old was asked if he was confident that the upcoming elections would be free, fair, and peaceful.

The president responded with, “Two separate questions. I’m confident it’ll be free and fair. I don’t know whether it’ll be peaceful.”

Biden made a surprise appearance during the daily White House briefing, the first-of-its-kind during his present tenure.

Joe Biden warned over November elections

The president reasoned why he's unsure over peaceful elections saying, “The things that Trump has said, and the things that he said last time out when he didn’t like the outcome of the election, were very dangerous.”

It seemed that Biden was referring to the Capitol Hill riots on January 6, 2021, when several people stormed inside the building to stop the certification of the election results.

Trump calling the 2020 election fraud had cost him dearly since he had been indicted by a federal agency in Washington, and state charges in Georgia, reported The Daily Beast

Donald Trump stark warning if he loses elections

The Republican nominee continues to drive his narrative of rigged elections in 2020. “If I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole—that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country,” he said, speaking during a March rally in Ohio.

Biden pointed out on Friday, October 4, “I’m concerned about what they’re going to do.”

When asked about Biden’s comment, Trump responded while inspecting a damaged region due to a hurricane, the Republican leader said, “I only can hope that it’s going to be free and fair and I think, in this state, it will be.”

“And I hope in every state it will be,” he added.

President Joe Biden's unplanned appearance to warn about elections came just moments before Harris took the stage to give her remarks on Friday, October 4.

Donald Trump is all set to take stage at the same venue in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the first assassination attempt was made on July 13.

Trump was stuck by one of the bullets in the attack, where eight rounds were fired. Pennsylvania firefighter Corey Comperatore died while trying to shield his family while two other were injured in the attack.
