Trump’s YMCA dance at Fort Bragg goes viral

On Friday, February 13, President Donald Trump thrilled the crowd with his famous YMCA dance. During the performance, he glanced at Melania Trump, then paused to clap along with the audience. Melania smiled and clapped politely, keeping her reaction firm.

A 26-second clip of the moment has gone viral on social media. Both looked stylish and elegant. Trump wore a formal black coat over his suit, while Melania opted for a subtle-colored long coat with her hair down.

She also took a moment to acknowledge the crowd, greeting them gracefully. Trump’s dancing has become a signature part of his public appearances. Throughout the 2024 campaign, he often started and ended events with a dance, and he has continued this tradition as president.

Melania Trump has made it clear she is not a fan of her husband’s dancing. She said during an interview, "I like it, at certain times. Some days was NOT appropriate, and I told him so! It's his dance, I think people love it, people in sport, all around the world are dancing! It's a great atmosphere when he does, it brings atmosphere and fun."

Trump said at a GOP retreat in Washington, “She hates when I dance. She is very classy and thinks it is unpresidential.”

He added that he sometimes tries to defend his moves by pointing out how much his supporters enjoy them, especially his well-known YMCA dance. “I told her, ‘The dance they really like,’” he said. But Melania reportedly replied, “They do not like it. They are just being nice to you.”

Melania has said she doesn’t like Trump’s dancing, but he continues to show off his signature moves at events, ignoring her disapproval.
