INDIANA, PENNSYLVANIA: Donald Trump made an unusually self-aware admission at a rally in Pennsylvania on Monday night, September 23, acknowledging that he may have a "personality defect."

Addressing a packed crowd, the GOP nominee humorously described his reluctance to do an interview with libertarian TV host Greg Gutfeld.

Donald Trump jokes about 'personality defect' in crowd-pleasing admission

"He asked me for an interview, and I said 'You know, I'll do it, but begrudgingly – ten minutes'. I don't really want to do it, because he doesn't like me," Donald Trump alleged. "I guess I don't like anybody that doesn't like me, I'll be honest," he continued as the crowd cheered for him.

"When they don't like me, I don't like them, okay? It sounds childish... that's the way it is. Call it a personality defect. But we did an interview, and it was supposed to be 15 minutes, and it lasted for two and a half hours. It just never stopped. It was great chemistry – we actually liked each other."

Donald Trump targets Kamala Harris and vows to protect women

As the rally progressed, Donald Trump took aim at Kamala Harris, attacking her record on the economy and immigration.

He also made a promise to women across America, stating, "I am your protector," and adding, "Women will be happy, healthy, confident, and free. You will no longer be thinking about abortion."

He assured the crowd that the Republican Party would defend and support IVF, saying, "We want beautiful babies in our country. We want you to have your beautiful, beautiful, perfect baby. We want those babies, and we need them. And I will protect women at a level never seen before."

In a lighter moment, Trump also commented on the two assassination attempts he survived this year, including one involving an AK-47.

"I learned about AK-47s three weeks ago. That's not a nice one. I'm getting very good at learning about weapons. I'm learning a lot about guns," he joked, giving the crowd a reason to laugh amid the more serious tones of his speech.

Social media erupts as users mock Donald Trump’s 'personality defect' admission

"One of many personality defects," tweeted a user.

"Leading by vendetta is no way to lead," said a second.

"And Trumpkins cheer this behaviour. What a cult," tweeted a third.

"Wow! Djt really is somewhat honest here-unfortunately he doesn’t accept that IT IS CHILDISH & a PERSONALITY DEFECT. Also a little bit of a threat to anyone who disagrees with him. USA & the World has witnessed that, haven’t we?" read a tweet.

'Psychologists call it malignant narcissism. 🧐👆' one user said.

"You don’t like millions of people then!" penned a user.

"tRump is a walking, breathing defect," chimed another.

"Thank God! I wouldn’t want him to like me," said a user.
