Trump says 'heavy and pinpoint bombing' on Iran will continue until 'peace' is achieved
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Saturday, February 28, announced that “heavy and pinpoint bombing” against Iran will go on for at least a week to reach his objective of regional peace.
This follows his confirmation that a joint US-Israeli attack successfully killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump asserts bombing will continue until objective is met
In a ‘Truth Social’ post, President Trump urged Iran’s military and police to "peacefully merge with the Iranian Patriots" to take back control of their nation.
"The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue uninterrupted throughout the week or as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!" Trump further wrote.

Trump confirms death of Iranian leader
President Trump described the death of the Supreme Leader as a victory for justice, calling him "one of the most evil people in History."
He stated that the loss of the leader and his associates is a win for Americans and many others around the world. "This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS," he said.
Trump also claimed that the strikes have left the Iranian forces wanting to give up, adding, "This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country. We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us."
In an interview with ABC News, President Trump noted that the strikes have already caused significant damage and effectively left the Iranian leadership "incapacitated." When asked if he knew who might lead Iran next, he simply replied, "Yes. We have a very good idea."
