Trump sinks tidy chip shot, says 'Winning is always nice' while taking new swipe at Biden
Washington, DC: President Donald Trump showcasedhis golf flair once again after sinking a tidy chip shot during a weekend round, a moment he quickly used to renew his months-long mockery of President Joe Biden’s golf game. The video, filmed during a casual round and posted to Truth Social, went viral within hours.
Donald Trump sinks tidy chip during weekend round
Trump was seen teeing it up alongside LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka, NHL legend Wayne Gretzky and Fox News anchor Bret Baier when he stepped up to a short but tricky chip just off the green. As the caddie pulled the pin, Trump took a few rehearsed practice swings before sending the ball rolling toward the cup.
The ball barely left the ground but tracked straight, prompting one golfer to shout “One time!” as the group watched it drop neatly into the hole. Trump walked away grinning while the group erupted in cheers. He later posted the clip with the caption “Winning is always nice,” and the video spread across social platforms within hours.

When a petty officer asked Trump about his “true golf handicap,” the president immediately took aim at Biden’s swing, continuing the feud that began during their June 27, 2024 presidential debate. Trump reminded the group that he had challenged Biden to a charity golf match last year, offering $1 million if he lost. “I’ve invited him, but he doesn’t want to show up,” Trump said, adding that Biden “can’t hit a ball 30 yards.”
Trump continued, mocking Biden for previously claiming to be a six handicap. “He said he was a six. I said, ‘You’re not a six.’ Then he said he was an eight. I said, ‘That was quick.’ But he’s not 100. He’s not 100,” he joked.
Donald Trump boasts about club championships and scratch-level play
The president went on to tout his résumé on the course. “I’ve won 38 club championships, and I don’t get to practice much,” Trump said, recalling beating a 27-year-old player in a recent club final.
He added that age is irrelevant once play begins. “The fairway doesn’t know how old you are as you walk up the middle, and he’s in the rough.”
Trump claimed he is a “very low handicap” golfer, insisting he sits “right around scratch or better,” even noting he beat a “plus-three” player last year.
As the latest viral clip circulates, Trump’s blend of sportsmanship, showmanship and political jabs shows no signs of slowing down — and neither does the ongoing Biden–Trump golf rivalry.
